No Flares? Say Goodbye | A-4N Ayit War Thunder 

Every day It feels more and more necessary to grind Israel air

This plane just insane, while spading it after getting the 9Ds I was getting on average 3+ kills a game, and that's just a testament to how cruel it is to whack something like a Lim-5P from 3km away without it even knowing.

If you fly low and fast the walleyes are like cruise missiles

This is the biggest BEAST at 9.3. Not even Mig-19s scare me on that thing, even if I am out of missiles. And it's one of my favourite "premium-kid" hunters (you know who I'm talking about)...

It's been one of my favorites since it was added. And I'll admit, they were fairly poor pilots, but I've been able to keep flat turns on the deck along with vertical turns, with MiG-19's. You won't be doing that against a competent 19 pilot tho. If you know what you're doing, this thing is basically unkillable, unless you're facing someone that also really knows what they're doing in like a 21SMT. And saving the RATO rockets for maneuvers is always my favorite thing to do, people always question where the actual fuck all of your energy just came from.

Got its crew aced by playing, as long as you know how to not break your own wings, its an excellent aircraft. Even if you break your wings, sometimes you can limp back home.

When i was using the su7bmk, the ayit was one of my high priority targets, since i know that if they survive they will take atleast 2 of my teammates, i always either headon or bnz them, if i do overshoot and they are slow, i can usually outrun the missiles, but if the missile is closing in i just yeet an s24 rocket out and it works as a flare against all types of ir missiles you will meet, R60s and 9Ls included. These rockets saved me a lot and got me some decent kills

That Starfighter kill in the into reminds me of something that's been said a lot regarding the F-35 vs the SU-57. It doesn't matter that you can outrun the F-35, cause you can't outrun an AMRAAM.

the Hunter F.58 and the Ayit are my favorite planes to bust supersonics and rank 6 premiums

Still waiting for the day the Americans get the A-4M Skyhawk II added to the normal tech tree. I believe that it could carry Aim-9P-5 missiles which would make it very good. Other than that it should have the exact same weapons except for the shafrir 2 missiles.

This thing is completely insane in ground RB with the Merkava Mk.2D. Literally five free ground kills every flyout.

6:24 This is actually just an issue with Maverick-As, I'm not completely sure if it's realistic or not but in game the ability for Maverick-As to lock and track *moving* ground units is only 4-5km away, only reliably within 4km. However they can still lock much further than even 10km away, just not against moving targets

TV ordinance it has sadly limited to around 3km for vehicle track why you get "fake" locks sometimes. You can by pass that by pre leading the lock if guy going in a straight line since it will pick up ground vehicle if it drives by locked area

I still dont understand how this monster is 9.3 and the G.91YS is 9.7. They appear pretty similar to me and the A-4N has much better loadouts, yet it has the lower BR.

Why is this thing so enjoyable

Almost got this plane just need to research the second Vautor and the skyhawk line

I want this and A-4M for usa (A-4M gets A-7 targeting pod, STA2,4 get drop tanks, idk what missiles it gets but presumably AiM-9Gs and laser guided bombs but idk if the pod can lase targets for it)

Love the Ayit. I took out a bot SU-7 today with a maverick 😂

The twr of the Ayit is infact BETTER than the mig17 and even better than a f5c in a minimum speed dogfight when you run min fuel. This is due to a slight bug/feature on the engine which is what makes it busted. Its thrust peaks at 0 ias. This also explains why you out accelerate even mig21s on takeoff.

How come you take chaff at 9.3? Ussually anything under 10.3 i prefer to take just flares since chaff is basically useless at that tier. I guess you could use them against aim9c and r3r but thats basically it.

I felt like the wing rips way too often on high G loads, I wonder if you're ok if you get it spaded ?

Never set the walleyes for instant explosion, ERA on top of tanks likes to eat them for lunch, instead make it bounce with a 0.5 sec delay.

Yes it is a one of the hidden gems of the game, for its upgrades (+has mavericks at 9.3!!!), but still just a crap A-4!

Its fine as far as I felt at 9.3. Its gonna be out-classed above 9.3, everything else is better then it except for the missiles but even that becomes a one trick pony.

And which other planes from the Israeli tree are worth recommending in your opinion?

Nerge: 01:02 -> the Ayit has a MUCH better thrust:weight ratio than a MiG-17. The normal A4E (early) Skyhawk already has a better TWR than a MiG-17, the Ayit TWR is almost 40% better than that of a MiG-17.

4:00 how does an F-5c not only let you gain on him by doing stupid maneuvers, but he flew right in front of your guns…

Also ugh... Why does everyone use V to change views instead of the F keys?.. Makes it so confusing and jarring, it makes it more difficult. Use the F keys to select the view you want, it will help immensely instead of spamming V trying to get to the view you want.
