Chris Stapleton is an amazing artist; hes got an extraordinary voice; this song is edgy. Bluesy. Soulful; the arrangement is awesome; he's an exceptional artist

You can't go wrong with anything Chris Stapleton, but I'd recommend everything from live performances, except 'Fire Away,' - an exceptional storytelling video with a spotlight on mental health awareness and 'Death Row,' which has a musical mix in the studio version that sometimes gets lost in live performances. His vocals are flawless no matter what. But he is not a typical representation of country, I've seen the comment that he is his own genre, and I agree. He has many influences and does not box himself in. 'I Was Wrong,' live at Austin City Limits ... also watch the live version of Tennessee Whiskey from the same performance at Austin City Limits. He sings with his wife harmonizing ... different vibe. Country is full of storytellers, but another exceptional storytelling video is, 'Believe,' from Brooks & Dunn. Ooh, Brad Paisley has amazing storytelling, as well ... 'Whiskey Lullaby,' 'He Didn't Have to Be.' Tim McGraw, 'Humble & Kind,' 'Live Like You Were Dying.' Both of them have supporting videos.

He is a major hit maker in Country music right now, his wife Morgan is his duet partner. Blue Eyed Soul for sure!!!

Chris Stapleton is one of the best bluesy country artists in the business right now. I suggest, if you are going to do any other reactions from him, to find a live performance instead of a studio version as the studio tends to smooth out a raspy quality to his voice that is just mesmerizing. I'd listen to that man sing the phone book if it was live. He's got several I could recommend...Broken Halos, Fire Away (great story on the video). His best version of Tennessee Whiskey is the one at Austin City Limits. For great music from a country Vocal Band, Home Free excels ...their cover of Boyz2Men End of the Road will impress you. They call themselves country, but they simply are not limited to country music. When a Man Loves a Woman and Blue Ain't Your Color are excellent examples. They also do Dire Straits Brothers in Arms. For fun, check out their Country Fried Pop Medley and Butts Remix. You can't go wrong with this group. They're guaranteed to knock your socks off.
