I love reading the comments because I thought I was the only one completely and totally obsessed with Norm. I've seen all of these a million times and I'm for sure gonna watch it a million times more. And still crack up every time..... My dream is to one day perfectly deliver one of his stories about his uncles at a party or something
Ditto. Memory training goes a long way in replicating cadence and delivery. Norm is a true professional, and I fear we may never see another comedian operating beyond the limits in our lifetime. Political correctness destroyed comedy.
Dude is the Most funny person ever. His humour is so dry. I often wonder if this is him always. I want to feel it is. I watch with my girlfriend and she honestly doesn't understand humour at all while I hang on every word. He's really just the best. Peace ✌🏽🕊️
@@KevinSmith-vd8rz may he rest in peace. Unfortunately we will be without comedy for quite a while, other than the comedy he instilled in us. Fact. Hope you have a copy of his book, can't get enough of it (including audio edition as well). Hilarious!
Chubby junior. First realized seen hin. Due to censorship i guess . Im pale. Not white black simply anaemic. But since i heard him i became pink. So he brought out colour in peoples
Wow never thought of it being intentional, but norm did understand that the essence of the letterman show was that the joke was on the guest. If I only we could know for sure…
@@noahspergel1255 Norm claimed he didn't read much but would always know something about a random book someone was reading then claim "well i have read one book". I'd wager it was part of the bit.
He did a show a few months before Covid shut everything down at a casino I worked for. Night before his show he came in like a regular guy and played poker a few hours. All the dealers said he was just a humble every day dude. No ego or anything. Tipped them. Chatted with them, etc. seemed loved by all the comedy world.
Lets hope one day more people can love (or at least forgive and tolerate) others without fear of death and religion. I do think norm was a good and moral person before death made him seek religion. I do fear the idea of no afterlife, but I wont start believing in some illogical idea that someone else had to suffer for my sins. If anything, my religious idols are my family and friends, they are the people that matter, not some priest collecting cash.
Norm was comic genius, emotionally deep, and extremely loving. Watching Norm make Letterman and Dennis Miller laugh among others is historical. These historic entertainers are only with us for a time, I’m grateful to have enjoyed their talent.
greer with you, there was much more depth to his knowledge of how things truly work in this wicked world that one might think, he just chose to go along with all the absurdity and madness with his own unique style. RIP Norm.
Imagine going through life taking the piss out of everything and everyone with a big smile on your face and not giving a damn what people think… way to go Norm.
He is truly a treasure. Most impressive comedian I have ever seen. "Chairman of the bored" on Conan was just one example of how fast that guys brain works.
We miss you, Norm. You are timeless. Your jokes and smile are always genuine. The best comedians are philosophers at heart. He made the profound funny. Thank you for making me think just as hard you make me laugh.
God bless you fabulous Norm-obsessed motherlovers on the interzones. I love seeing how many people truly appreciated this absolutely brilliant genius of a man. I couldn't get enough Norm when he was alive, and I don't think I ever quite will now that he's gone. Funniest man there was. Only celebrity I cried about dying. God bless yall.
I watch this video a few times a week to fall asleep too, and I will continue to do so but now with sadness , norm you are a fucking legend. Your fans will surely never forget you. RIP
I do the same thing, have done so for a long time and I will continue to do so, like you with a heavy heart and a hardened smile..RIP Norm, I hope I see you on the other side...
Such a legend. Breaks my heart he wasn’t bigger than Kevin hart or joe Rogan. I love those guys but you can’t say norms not funnier. A true talent. Rest in piece
Wow, listening to his friends talk about him after his last special, (obviously, in typical norm fashion, it's called nothing special) was amazing but reading these comments is a lovely experience. ❤️
“The newest popular Halloween mask this year is OJ Simpson…and the new Halloween greeting is…”I’ll kill you and the guy who brought over your glasses…or treat.” Rest easy buddy.
Rest in peace Norm. This was a total shock. You’re humour seemed so effortless and you always made me smile. You were so original and it hurts so much. I will miss you and thank you. ❤️😢
Every comedian, in their most honest moments will confess to the horrific silence of an antagonistic audience Norm was not only fearless but LEANED INTO that terror. He loved making people uncomfortable with Truth and pointing to the unclothed Emperor and exclaiming like a little kid "So whats THAT there then??
Saw Norm at the Improv in 1999 or so, he said "I don't even know why or how I do this, how is this my job? I'm not really funny, I just say stuff and some people think it's funny?" He was funny but intelligently funny, not a lot of ridiculing people or insults from what I remember. I was just so thrilled to be in the same room as NORM & seeing him in person after being a fan since I was 13 or so? 😊 It felt like an honor to be able to see somebody live that I'd watched on my VCR tapes after recording SNL when I wasn't allowed to stay up that late. 😉
I wish norms stuff wasn’t so “obscure” . I feel like he’s so underrated because people who aren’t already looking for norm would never see it. True legend of our time.
So glad I got to see Norm 1 yr or so ago in Palm Beach. On his way of stage I was in the isle there where he'd come out and go in and got a sturdy handshake on his way back in wouldn't have guessed he was sick. Such a bummer
I starting watching this and took a break. In that break I found out he died. Now I am watching this second half with a different perspective and a mournful heart.
Norm, God Bless you, you touched so many of us. Not in the bad way like sexual predators do, that would be terrible. No one would thank him for that. You made me understand telling the joke, is part of the joke. So great. Thank you Norm.
Norm and Dennis = PRICELESS! I could listen to those two riff off each other all night. Fucking hilarious! I never full understood the "thing" that people had with Dennis Miller, he made me chuckle - but with Norm Macdonald I can almost call myself a fan. I'm sure they could both use the money, especially Miller. Someone work up a Podcast or something featuring these two, please.
Love you Norm. You’re comedy always made me laugh your OJ jokes back in the day & Clinton jokes & your hysterical Germany taking on ( THE WORLD twice almost made me pee myself!! God love & keep you Norm!!
Norm always reminded me of a laid-back George Carlin. Similar themed material and delivery with a different tone. Both are quick-witted and give zero fks
@@njm5642 Aunt or Uncle has the same relationship to Norm. What are you talking about? His cousin is the child of his father's brother or sister, which makes his cousin's side of the family the same as Norm's side of the family.
@@Randsurfer as far as I know, the words ‘’cousin’’, ‘’uncle’’ and ‘’aunt’’ are not specific to the father’s side of the family ‘.’his cousin is the child of his father’s brother or sister’’ yes that is true but his cousin could also be the child of his mother’s brother or sister, so his cousin could also be from his mother’s side of the family, that’s the trick.
