Excellent review, I've seen none better. I've been using the 2019 Shield TV for the last two years and It's performance is absolutely stellar. I had serious issues with it in the beginning for quite a while but they have sorted themselves out and I have no complaints. Once a month I completely disconnect it and leave it while I am at work to minimize the possibility of issues reoccurring and it seems to work. I watched to entire video just to listen to your lovely voice. I always look forward to your videos because they are in depth and for the most part perfect. Much success to you in the future.

Hey Tanya: Watching the video now, wanted to clarify that I got the Pro model of the 2019 Shield TV which does have 2 USB 3 ports. I forgot to mention I got the pro over the standard Shield TV in my comment for your other video that you replied to. The pro is also a different design it's flat and looks like a mini game console, and can stand vertically with an option al stand. It also has a LED light on top that shows it's powered on in a cool design. The pro also can run a Plex server on the device itself Since my Plex server is separate, I don't need that particular feature, but it's nice to have. Anyway, I hope I've filled you in on any differences you weren't aware of. The Shield Pro is the same price as the 64 GB Apple TV 4K $199 USD, not sure how that translates to pounds for you.

Hi, terrific review! Wanted to know if you would recommend this shied tv or the newest fire tv cube. I'm looking to upgrade to something that can be hard wired that can take advantage of my gigabit internet service. Have a firestick 4k.

The Shield would be better for you as it supports gigabit ethernet. The Amazon ethernet adapter only supports up to 100Mbps so you would need to buy a separate compatible ethernet adapter to work with the Cube. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

Great video!!! I love my Nvidia Shield Pro, but I also love my 2 gen Fire Cube. Both work good for me, I love the shield remote. Of course the Fire Cube was a better price got for $95 on eBay👍🏾

I have the exact same one. I love it, I use a bluetooth airmouse plus a PlayStation controller to play Steam games. Updates on time, doesn't take long to update.

I have the cube upstairs and a Nvidia Shield 2017 in the living room, the cube is faultless but this shield although pricey is just magnificent, i added 1 TB as external and i would only change the 2017 when it doesnt work anymore for the 2019 shield, good review

this is a no brainer!! spend the extra money but get the SHIELD PRO like i did and say good bye to buffering when using third party apps in which most buffering occurs.................

I can’t speak for the new shield that you’re showing, I have an older shield that I love and I can put any app on it mine also has two remotes one for gaming and one for apps. I wouldn’t recommend the new one, also have an external hard drive. Love it

You get what you pay for. The Firestick is hands down the best device per dollar, but the Cube and the Baby shield are so much better.

Believe it or not, miss Tanya I am seriously thinking about leaving the FIRE CUBE.......... deep voice I love fire cube but I want more, more than invidia shield, I like the shield a lot ........ but not the one you showed that’s actually an older model the new one is dope....... in Lyman that means it’s great. If you have the time go check out the newer shield looks better,it’s black flat and all that, not saying what I am getting yet, I’ll say it when it gets here, talk or rather I say text you later take good care miss Tanya 🍎apple for the teacher👍🏾

@@miltontownson6932 Unfortunately, this is an issue on the new Firesticks and the Fire Cube (any Fire TV device running Fire OS 7 but there is a sort of "fix" or workaround by installing a custom launcher.

So sorry that it doesn't have USB. I would've imagined it to have a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0. Disappointing. Also, for all of the promoting that I've heard about the NVIDIA Shield, I was very surprised to find that is has only 8gb.

Both are good devices but you should of included the mecool km9 Pro Google certified 4gb ram 32gb memory and at around £70-£80 it has to be one of the best options

I haven't yet reviewed the Mecool KM9 Pro unfortunately so I cannot compare. It definitely looks good though. It's good but it still doesn't beat the Firestick in my opinion. Definitely enjoy the night out and take-away instead! Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

I’ve had them all I hated the Nvidia shield tv it doesn’t run BritBox app or Apple TV app which are the 2 I use the most,the cube runs them all so it cube for me,the Nvidia is chucked in a cupboard
