I've made a short video showing OBD1READ device with the Android application TOYOBD1. Testing OBD1. TOYOBD1 on OBD1READ Device Car: Toyota Starlet EP91 -97 Engine: 4E-FE Check out my Toyota Starlet blog! ep91starlet.blogspot.com/
@@ikennaihegbu7692 I haven't. And totally forgot about this. Car has been running good. I should definitely order this , to keep in the arsenal of tool for my baby.
Thank you for the video I'm really happy that it has all worked for you :D I'm currently working on a project attempting to read the serial data from a Toyota MR2 Turbo Mk2 SW20 its lat 1992 model and I am for sure receiving serial data via VF1 when I ground E1 to Tf2. I am capturing Preamble but I have a feeling the data packets are handled slight different to how they do on other toyota vehicles.
I got it! it was more a case of a timing issue on my arduino uno R3. I now have all the data. That was a fun/intense project that took over my life for a while. I’m now going after the real-time data. I so far have the RPM in real-time and boost.
Great job. Did you made read device for MR2 3sge? Is this P&P for celica 2.0 3sge? This is the same engine in mr2 and celica. The cars have two another diagnostick connector but the names of the pin,s is the same.
@@keerff626 check my recent videos i need to upload more its been a hektic few months my brother is competing in tthe winter Olympics in 10 days our lives have been totally revolving around him i simply havent been able to concentrate on anything else. Once this is over ill provide code links and hardware requirements and cooncise instructions.
It is Jean-Francois Breton who makes them (in Canada). I think he's working on another version now. Try "TOYOBD1 Users" on facebook or see if you can contact him at: jfbreton.blogspot.se/
Hi Per. I thank god that the OBD1 time is over. Now it is E-OBD / OBD2 that applies. I have a course now that involves measuring the different nodes and node 6 and 14 you have a CAN bus high and low. (OBD2) There you have the fast data traffic. (1Mbit) Then you have the LIN bus where data traffic that is not as important as going to window lifts and lights. (Master and slave system) You can also read the fast MOST bus via the OBD socket for the music and entertainment system. In the future (now) there is a very fast and safe bus called Flex-ray used for autonomous vehicles. I have a Fluke 123 that I measure a bit with and there you can learn to troubleshoot a lot. Fun with all the "new" technology. Have a good one!
