thank you guy sensei i was struggling to get that auto bearing out. the screwdriver thing great. i didn't have a screwdriver big enough so i used a chisel worked great. i feel liked you just settled a whole years a struggle in this video. great job.

Good content. What weight was that slide hammer? I'm in the same situation trying to get that automatic pilot bearing out.

The bread method is also superior to the grease method, because after you are done changing the pilot bushings, you can have a tasty snack.

Super helpful had the same thing happen to me auto motor instead of manual but that screwdriver in the puller really helped was trying all day and found this and it really worked thanks a lot

My pilot bearing popped off by itself when i disassembled the block..the funny part is the cap to it is still in place..so i dont understand how in the world it managed to come out with a cap still on but its caused alot of confusion as i was doing something else when it popped off and i only heard it hit the floor...took a while jjst to even figure out what this pilot bearing even was

How far in does the pilot bearing need to go in? Does it bottom out?

I got a bushing from a Z1 kit. It claims to be OEM, so thats good. I also have the same tool as you, but ill have to modify it to fit, because its too big

So any type of bread or specifically sliced bread?
