This cashier just didn't know how to take no for an answer! And I wasn't going to cut her lol she was just very annoying. Im not that violent, I strictly use it for protection.
From someone who has to sell protection plans... Asking once is ideal. Twice is okay... if you feel they're on the edge... THREE TIMES OR MORE? HELL NAW.
+ Qaadir Howard youre giving me life you're too damn funny , I love how you be getting all up in their ass 😂😂 tell them boo you better let them how it is 💯
This is how I know I'm talking to an idiot. I've worked plenty of jobs, retail included. Im beginning to sense you may be one of my Double EP's. However Im bored with you, so another half baked remark and you gets The 3 Selections. Good Day. -Qaadir
Wow u r a dumbass first off, I said what the lady told us. If her information was screwed then here's what you do. Look me deep in my eyes and ask me if I give a fuck, because the answer will remain the same...NO.

OH MY GOSH!!!! LMAO!!! I used to work for Office Depot...they pushed us to be like that- although I worked in the call center...i got in trouble quite often because I would not keep doing the rebuttles to the customers no's...if they don't want it- I'm ending the call- have a nice day is what I'm saying next! lol
How can she/he call someone stupid. Number 1 there is no such thing as a $9.00 fax machine, and Number 2 it's cartridge. Cartlidge is what you tear up in your knee. Also, stank is not a word, it's stink.
First off...thanks for the shout out *love, Liz* Second, her first point of interest should be learning that it's an ink CARTRIDGE and not a CARTILAGE! Maybe she should have her cartilage in her brain cleaned out so she can speak correctly. Third, I can't stand sales people, especially those who don't make me think that whatever they're selling is pertinent to my existence or the existence of my product. She was all wrong and rally needs a nap!
"dont make me uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu on dat ass bitch!" LMAO where does this shit be coming from??? you are too damn funny..and i know you be serious!!! been lookin at your vids every since sandra rose! love ya!
HAHA this is so funny! I work at Office depot and Hate that we have to push so hard on the protection plans and no you don't pay monthly not sure what the cashier was talking about but that is just a one time fee. Just covers it for 2 years. I agree for a fax at 9 bucks I wouldn't purchase it either, but try not to hate too much cause thats what they teach us at the store is to PUSH AND PUSH for a yes. I hate it and most employees hate it but its what we gotta do to keep the job. lol
Oh my god! She did that at a STORE? I know every time I order stuff over the phone, the sales rep are always doing that. I call and TRY to order 1 thing, and then the rep is reading off of a damn script obviously and keep offering me stuff. Like BITCH are you gon' pay for it? No! Ok then, stop wasting my damn minutes, and let me get the ONE thing I called for!" GURL!! I be going off on them!
I should have watched the whole video before I sent my first comment, I hate pushy sales people, proper sales tactic is to rebuttal at least twice. Props for keeping your cool.
I think it's sad that you are willing to deface and slander a reputable company based on one experience, an experience which sounds all wrong. I'm not saying the associate didn't pressure you, but what they offered you was a lie. There is no lifetime protection plan. It's obvious that you are trolling to get attention. Also, the ignorant comments towards you in this video have the right to be "voted down" or marked as spam, but what about every Office Depot associate who calls you out?
Wow! Your crazy. First thing Office Depot does not offer a lifetime protection plan on anything. Up to 4 years on some items but only 2 years on fax machines. Second thing, Its $4.99 for 2 years. You were most likely buying a fax machine that cost $80-$120 but you got it real cheap I'm assuming because its was a display model. So it would have been smartest to buy it and spend a total of $13.99 and receive a $100 dollars back if anything happens to it. Third thing, The insurance company
Office Depot, are they running a business? I needed to buy a particular calculator one day and it was run out at Staples, so I went to the Office Depot and they had it, but Office Depot charged $20.oo more, and while I was paying for it, the cashier was chatting with her boss making no eye contact to me. I felt that I wanted to blaspheme the Office Depot. Dunkin Donuts and Office Depot are to go.
Ink cartridge NOT cartilage (that is what holds your nose on your face), office depot protection plans are a ONE TIME FEE that one would have been $7.99 total for 2 years, it's not a lifetime service and you do not pay per month. It is the cashiers job to offer this stuff obviously you don't have a job otherwise you would realize that if you have a job in retail you are required to sell things.
Its not harassment you idiot... It's our job to drill in the customers head that we offered the plan. So when the retarded ass customer who broke the item comes back to the store and bitches to get a new one when they're stupid ass dropped it or spilled something on it. So many times does that ignorant SOB come in demanding that its our fault they don't know how to use their damn item. Come on now.
Also, as a former Office Depot worker I think one of two things is going on. with the cashier. 1.) The manager is threatening to fire or write her up if she does not push those plans. 2.) She has been indoctrinated with their "Product Production Plan Propaganda " which goes something like "...You like working for Office Depot, you like selling protection plans, if you don't sell these plans you hate Office Depot, You don't hate Office Depot, do you? No. You like working for...."
lol.. as of yet I'm not sure what the "penalty" would be but they do get mad if you aren't trying to sell extras. I can handle trying to sell protection plans though, because with the more expensive items it IS a good deal.. just not for like a $9 fax machine. So I don't feel bad about selling the protection plans. It's not the world's best job (at the OD I transferred from it was though) but I have to pay rent some way... ha...
That's weird... We don't actually sell lifetime protection plans at Office Depot, nor are they monthly payments (they are one-time). For a $9 fax machine, 1 year would be $3.99 and 2 years would be $5.99... anyway, they really get onto us if we don't sell those plans. I had to sign a paper the other day saying I'd sell at least $3.00 of plans/hr or there could be "penalties." And the extras (like ink) go toward "Market Basket" because Corporate gets onto us if we don't sell enough. Although,
Hey Timaya, I went and checked out the two people that you mentioned in one of your videos that brought on a little confusion. The first one that I went and checked out is doing WAY too much, is too over the top, and isn't realistic. The other person, omg, need I say more... In my opinion, you have a great personality, you're hilarious, you have a great voice, and you captured my attention!!! You're great and don't change who you are for anyone, EVER!!! Much Love!!!
This cashier should not have pushed the replacement plan option on you further. Honestly at $9, I wouldn't have offered it to you if it were me. Office Depot is looking at closing about 200 stores at the beginning of the year so yes, it is kind of like she has a gun to her head. Her store may be one of the stores that's close to being closed and selling the service plans adds to sales and keeps her in a job. As an Office Depot employee I can only apologize for her going too far on offering.
Sharks have cartilage, fax machines take ink cartridges. I work for Office Depot and we don't sell "lifetime" replacement plans where you have to pay monthly. Your $9 fax machine comes with a one year manufacturers warranty already. We sell replacement plans for the second or third year after this. On a $9 fax machine the plan is $3.99 for the second year and $5.99 for three years, it's a one time payment.
To me, her forcing this warranty on you would make me suspicious about the product in general...like, I don't have a ps3, but I've heard a lot of stories about them breaking down before or very shortly after the warranty runs out on them. Is the fax machine still working to this day? Heh, silly me...too many comments for you to notice this one, ^_^ Anywho, another hilarious rant (not a bad rant, like old house wives or something). Going to go check out another vid!
Is this supposed to be some sort of joke or something? I don't know where you're from, but I've been buying from Office Depot since 2000, and they've never offered a 'lifetime' service for a monthly charge. Also, Office Depot services and Best Buy services are the same thing, even though Office Depot is an office supplier and Best Buy is an electronics supplier.
OMG....the same thing happened to my father and I when we went to Office Depot to purchase a laptop and the lady keep trying to get us to purchase a package to whereas if the laptop stopped working we can get a new one and blah blah and my father was like no I will just buy a new one if something happened to this one..and she just keep on with it...lol....
it doesn't matter how much it was it was teh principle, that he said no and she kept insisting on badgering him about the package. There is no need for insult or language you don't like what he said, hit the back button. I guess you are the girl that work at office depot huh? cuz if you are please take his advice.
Yup,this happens every fricking time you try to buy something. The extra warranty always costs about 100% more than the product you're buying. And as polite as you are when declining the 'liefetime protection package',the cashier will be on your case! You just KNOW they're told to sell this crap, but as far I'm concerned, fuck off,the customer is always right!
I work at office depot. and when i ask a customer for a protection plan and they say no thats that. this girl shouldnt have kept tryin to push it on you. your right no means no. but chances are her store manager was threatin her to loose her job if she didnt sell more.
