There was an interview where Luke Newton said that during filming one scene, he was supposed to be angry but he was so exhausted that he started crying. And the director said, can you do that a few more times and he said, "I don't think this is going to go away any time soon." He still doesn't know if it made the final cut. I think it made it in. I think Pen confesses that she's LW.

I feel like this really speaks to something unique and special that people want and need. Maybe love interests that aren't cookie cutter and expected... ones they can relate to more? I think so. Someone mentioned on another video I watched about this that Colin was doing Anthony's head tilt of longing/lust at Pen and I had to take a moment to appreciate the sentiment ❣

So, I’m theorising about the lead up to Colin making that “hungry boy” Bridgerton face at the carriage scene, and I think I may be onto something. So Colin is running to Pen’s hired hack and he manages to catch up. Pen sees Colin running beside the carriage so asks the driver to stop the carriage. She opens the door to allow Colin to speak to her and it goes something like this (I don’t have the writing skills, so please forgive if it’s not giving). Colin: Penelope… Penelope: What are you doing here Colin? Colin: I was worried about you Penelope. I saw you running out earlier. What did Debling do to you? Penelope: He did nothing. In fact, I was the idiot who ruined everything. Colin: Whatever do you mean Pen? Penelope: He proposed to me and I rejected it. Colin (moves closer to the carriage, i.e, to Penelope): Why would you do that? Silence remains between the two of them. Penelope couldn’t get herself to tell him the real reason why she had rejected Lord Debling’s proposal. Colin: Penelope…I…I have somethings to tell you Penelope tilts her head upwards to Colin, her eyes focused on his. Colin: You are the most remarkable woman I have ever met. It is only an idiot like me who could’ve been blind to the amazing woman standing steadfast beside me. And I do not deserve you, I know that. But the least you deserve from me is to tell you what I feel for you. (Puts his hand to his chest). How I really feel for you. If you do not feel the same for me, then you can tell the coachman to go on, and we shall never speak of it again. But if there is a part of you that feels the same, then I ask you to stay. Stay here with me, Penelope. The two of them sit in silence, their eyes never leaving each others. Penelope’s eyes move to Colin’s lips, lingering there for a moment. Then her eyes flit back up to his. Colin gives that “hungry boy” look and after a slight, almost subconscious head nod from Penelope, immediately moves into the carriage to kiss her. And the carriage scene begins😈
