Me too !! I always exclaim “ OH BOY!!! LET”s play PLINKO!!!” when they announce the game! My second favorite game on TPIR is the toddler climbing up the mountain yodeling !, Just cracks me up !!!

Wear a helmet for your own safety if you are going to be a co-host...also that thing should always have it own cover or maybe make it a bit slipery so the pilko chip can side a bit easier

young people today probably don't realize that $2500 was a lot of money for us old timers back in 1983. :) My first year of college tuition was a little over $2100. (public university, in-state)

Technically this is taped around November 1983 hence the MCMLXXXIII copyright, so both years are correct depending on how you judge it. It's not uncommon to have copyright years be the previous year for Goodson-Todman shows back then.

If you wanna calculate the inflation from 1983, it is roughly x2.5. She won 2500 so that $2500 win is roughly 6300 today.

Johnny Olson...miss him. Him and Rod Roddy were the best announcers!💲 EDIT: Bob is so funny when things go wrong! And it was always great anticipation when a person of Samoan descent would play a pricing game!
