I wonder if they hinted at Rumple having been intended as the original Savior back in season four when that writer guy wrote him a new world where he was The Savior instead of Emma because she didn't technially exist.
She IS the most Evil villan in the serie she can makes fiscal and psicologíc pain all the family(Emma,Belle,Henry, the charmings,Zelina and obiously her son too
I know Nimue is the first dark one, but the Black Fairy is the one who created dark magic and the dark curse so I think Fiona is the first true dark one in my opinion.
I say Fionna created dark magic, however Nimue started the darkness. If that makes sense. But even then Nimue created dark magic. However, Fionna is far stronger than a dark one. Literally. That's why she practically invented it.
in my opinion Fiona was suffering from Postpartum psychosis! it's rare but it happens to some women, cause her reactions towards everyone, especially Rumple wasn't normal at all. and I like to call it tragic I mean, she starts everything just to protect her son and is doing anything but thinking clearly and wisely and causes a lot of damage, without knowing that her ultimate damage is her son, literally starting everything with trying to protect the him but turned into the reason for his misery, so tragic.
“You’re mothers. Quite tenacious about your offspring. Believe it or not, I understand that.” -Peter Pan talking to Emma, Regina, and Snow, Season 3 Episode 9
@@soixsantes Rumple was desperate at the time, besides the fact that Baelfire was all that he had left, his time was running short. Fiona had many years before her, to find a solution and keep her son safe. While Rumple didn't really had much choice, Fiona most certainly did. She chose her power over her son's future. Rumple took the power only to protect his son, and was willing to let it go if it meant keeping his son safe. He let go of Baelfire, because of his fear, becasue of his trauma, people shouldn't forget that it is by going through a Magic Beans portal that he lost his father. He regretted his decision to let go of his son the moment he lost him. Fiona on the other hand didn't regret taking her son's power away. She kept justifying her actions by saying it was the right thing, she kidnapped her own grandson, separated her son from his wife, and hurt her great-grandson. While on the surface Fiona and Rumple may look alike, they are at heart very different.
@@SchultzDorinda yes you are right, i agree with everything you said but just to say, when baelfire died under the eyes saddened of rumple, I cried with him because it was really too sad
i hated this. why are the fairies always messing things up? they ruined fiona with that prophecy and then ruined Malcolm by hiding the fact that fiona was banished, they caused so much trouble but tinkerbell gets punished for almost preventing the transformation from Regina to evil queen by telling her, her true love? wtf.
This was so fucked up. Like this shit really pissed me off about OUAT's morality. Good and evil were always so black and white. There was never a middle ground. It was either one extreme or the other, magic always came with a price. You could never use magic to protect the ones you love without succumbing to evil. Its just so messed up. Nimue killed and saved the land from a vicious warlord who ended so many lives and she gets punished for it by becoming the first dark one. Snow killed Cora, a woman who had no heart and threatened her family, she had no way of knowing placing her heart back inside her would fix everything? Rumple wanted to save his son, he was a kind and gentle soul, the darkness should not have been able to corrupt him. And Fiona wanted nothing more than to save her son and the lives of so many other children by stopping a prophecy the FAIRIES self actualized. Fiona was trying to save her son and then SHE becomes the great evil that's supposed to kill him? It's just beyond fucked up. If i had the power of magic, I would use it to protect the people I love, stop those who wished to do evil to others, and remain good because love seeing as the writers forgot, love is the most powerful magic, and all those who used magic I mentioned had love in their hearts. It's ridiculous.
That is kinda the western mindset when it comes to morality. It's kinda to be expected. Although I think they managed greyness of morality well with characters like Rumple and Snow and Charming. But regardless, in the story's defense, I think the ultimate reason Fiona became the Black Fairy is because she was trying to kill someone who was indeed trying to protect a child from a greater bad. While her cursing her child could have been excused as an act of love and mercy, her stealing Tiger Lily's heart was out of ill will. Yes it was motivated by her love and desperation, but it was still an act of ill will or with the specific intention of harming Tiger Lily because she was in the way. That is why it turned her "evil." Then there is the fact that her child's destiny as the savior is the good one in the grand spectrum of things. It is a cruel one but keep in mind, his destiny does not necessarily mean he would die early or live a bad life. Just that he would ultimately have to die for the sake of others. Which meant that until that moment came, Rumple had all the chance in the world to live a happy life, and Fiona took that away from him. Now, I dunno about you, but despite her intentions, I can definitely see that as "evil," especially considering that she did not stop with just cursing her child. And considering all the ripples of bad she created through her actions.
we don't know for sure. she was just trying to banish all the children. regina, peter pan, dark hook & nimue, and drizella & gothel all modified it later when they cast it to suit their purposes. perhaps originally you didn't have to sacrifice the heart of someone you love most. or perhaps black would just manipulate someone else into casting it like rumple did with regina.
I think you could kind of explain it away by saying the fairies added that part before locking it away with Chernabog since it's clear Fiona never finished it and maybe they thought, in some way, that losing the heart of the thing you love most would deter someone from casting the curse
@@879SCSP you might be right. after all black did cast it later and she didn't kill anyone to cast it. Since it was her curse originally maybe she can cast the original spell not what anyone else might have added to it.
I have a cover for this hole. In the video when she’s making the curse in the fairy’s lab or whatever, she says she already has the final ingredient. Thus meaning that the heart would’ve already been added yes? And I don’t think the fairy godmother would’ve allowed the heart to be used in any instance. So my theory is that there are two dark curses. One dark curse (involving the heart) allowed the person to make a whole new realm/take them to a whole different place. While as the other dark curse would just alter the memories of the present. It’s what happened in storybrooke. The scenery didn’t change, just everyone’s memories were wiped away. When looking for the fairy wand, Snow asks Regina where it would be since she *made* storybrooke.

I love them too. I like how they portray fairies as star-themed guardian angel-like beings. I just don't like the blue fairies season 1 dress. It looks messy.
In a sense Fiona is basically doing what Merryweather did in Sleeping Beauty but in this sense very dark plus by severing his fate changed it from death to sleep or maybe it was always sleep with a tlk
She probably was going to use Tiger Lilly's heart, as Pan once said that love can come from respect and loyalty, she probably felt that the most towards her because Tiger Lily was her son's fairy godmother and was helping her in her schemes.
here are for me the best villains of seasons season 1: regina season 2: cora season 3: peter pan and zelena season 4: rumple season 5: king arthur and hades season 7 : gothel
@@iamvia9749 Yes. In the original version, there's an evil fairy who curses the prince. [SPOILER] But it's not because the prince is rude and arrogant. It's because he refuses to be her lover. So the fairy is truly evil and selfish.
