To the creator of these videos, I would like to say thank you for these awesome vids. You have helped me a lot in ENGLISH B and would like to continue the great work
Relearning/ Revising this poem 3 hrs before the exam been up all night on twelfth night and Mirror😓 thanks sir for the public service 🙏 A 1 in Jesus name. Amen
Hey, awesome vid, I have some questions can you assist please? 1. What do you associate with the title of the poem? 2. What does the poet convey through the oft-repeated phrase, ‘once upon a time?’ 3. What is the relationship between the narrator and the listener? 4. What happens to the poet when he visits someone for the third time? 5. Pick out the expressions that indicate conflicting ideas.
Hi! Thanks for watching. This sounds like an assignment so I won't answer these directly (correct me if I'm wrong). Still, I'll help you out a little. Re questions one and two, you may think of the title as referring to fairy tales, which would often start with "Once Upon a Time". Note that fairy tales are not real. Re question three, the first line gives that away. Check stanza 3 for help with question four. For question five, look for words with opposite meanings or close to opposite meanings and see how they bring out different contrasts or contradictions. Hope this helps.
Hello I'd like to refer to you as my love.❤ Because you've helped me alot with English B. Tomorrow the 12th-05-2023 I will be sitting the exam. I hope I do well😊
Thanks for watching. We see hypocrisy in how people behave in a way that is in contradiction with how they really feel. Even the speaker engages in this hypocritical behavior.
Hello! Who is 'they' supposed to be? I assume it's people he once knew, and no longer associates with them, as he doesn't even bother to use their name. Or, 'they' could just mean today's society as a whole, and his experiences people who are in our society.
I think both interpretations are supported! He could be referring to the nowadays society, but since be talks about personal experiences, he might also be referring specifically to those who he might have interacted with, who would have displayed this behavior or dishonesty and fakeness.
