Bubby has never seen One Piece. Does this make him a bad person? Maybe. Hopefully he can slightly redeem himself by at least watching and reacting to all the One Piece openings thus far.
@@dewaralsan5844 For bingers it is okay. but for week-week watchers waiting for season would've been painful. One Piece's core story is huge. Continuous anime is good.
@@shinogekai1610 Nah I mean, they should give it a break so the manga and the anime have enough gap. The current OP animes feels too stretchy and less content, so many fillers and flashback bcs the manga and the anime are in the same arc.
@@noirody6256 I really liked how the first thing Blackbeard did was give Luffy an inspirational speech, it really threw me off on what kind of character I was dealing with. It's also kind of neat that the show focused on Luffy and Blackbeard's similarities at first rather then their differences
I'll tell you what I tell everyone who wants to get into One Piece but is scared of the length: Don't worry about it. Seriously. The length should be the LAST thing on your mind. Think about One Piece like it's a REALLY long roller coaster ride. Do you get on a roller coaster just to get to the end? NO. You're there to enjoy the ride. Thats what One Piece is. An incredibly long, bizarre, unreal and often nonsensical but epic ride. As an Adventure story One Piece in the pinnacle of the "Journey over Destination" mindset. You're here to take part in the journey. To experience the Adventure. Not fuss over the destination. Which is one of the series greatest strengths. Most media today is junk food. Cheap, quick entertainment meant to grab your attention for a short period of time, before you consume and move on to the next product. One Piece slowly drags you into the depths of it's world and makes it not just a product to consume but a Legendary Odyssey that will remain with you long after you've finished it. Give it a shot. From your reaction here I'd say you'd be into it. If you want to watch inspirational characters chase impossible dreams, fight for their freedom, and love each other in the most wholesome display of Family then this is the series for you.
@@38achref26 Yea, he's in for a real eye opener if he picks it up with what he expects. Its definitely what he expects, lighthearted, fun, colorful adventure.. but its also soooo much darker, more intricate, and deeper than he could even know.
The ( we are ) opening that you heard at the very beginning is in here 3 times. 1st one is the original. 2nd time is sang by the crew members voice actors. 3th time was for the 1000th episode of one piece.
To add to it: - Opening 7, the crew singalong, was released on the fifth anniversary of the show - Opening 10, the remix, was released on the tenth The 15th anniversary had the unrelated DRIP opening, and the Wano stated on the 20th. I was hoping for a new version of We Are for the 25th anni in 2024, but I guess I'll take the ep. 1000 remake.
"Do people die in this show" Yes... One Piece is very sparing on when it uses death, because there are far more important things to explore. But when death happens, it hits harder. Also more than half the people you thought were villains were not, and half the people you thought were allies weren't. One of the best things about this series is that character designs will rarely expose a characters standing on things.
kinda sparingly, i mean most minor people definitely DO die, but they do so off screen, like Ghen who succumbed to the poison sometime after taking Krieg away from the Baratie.
@@UltimateGamerCC Gin being dead is just a theory btw. Oda has never confirmed anywhere that Gin died after Baratie. For all we know, he could be sailing the Grand Line with Krieg.
@@T_667 considering how Krieg's crew made the poison out to be, pretty sure he died like a wolf, in solitude. it's been at least two years since Baratie, yet there's been nothing, need to face the possibility.
@@UltimateGamerCC The cooks gave him a bit of medicine which could've made the poison weaker. It obviously wouldn't neutralize it fully, but it could help. He also made a promise that he would see Luffy in the Grand Line, and the other character's who made such promises held them (Koby for example). It's totally possible that he is dead, I'm not putting that away. But you presented it as a fact, rather than a possibility.

Very Nice reaction, I love your style in reacting the videos, it's incredible and so fun to watch that you still able to mention the contents and the changes of the openings in the middle of your funny comments, and yeah, each Straw Hats has their own role in the ship: -Luffy as Captain -Zoro as Combatant -Nami as Navigator -Usopp as Sniper -Sanji as Cook -Chopper as Doctor -Robin as Archaeologist -Franky as Shipwright -Brook as Musician -Jinbe as Helmsman That's why we often see Sanji cooking, Zoro training, or Brook playing any musical instruments
@@38achref26 well, the only thing that I know for now is that she is surely capable to be a frontliner along with Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe, I guess we will find out about her specialistic role in the ship after (and if) she officially join the crew later
@@protobomber9822 still, he was officially introduced as the combatant (with swordsman speciality) for the crew. And also, as I don't want to make any conflicts with Zoro or Sanji's fanatic fans, I prefer to call Zoro and Sanji as Luffy's Wings instead of calling one of them as the right hand of Luffy (IMO both of them are capable to be the right-hand man in their own way)
@@yanz293 this isn't me hating on sanji but every crew has its first mate that's the right hand of the captain, for roger it was rayleigh, and since zoro was the first person to join while also having conqueror's haki just like luffy, i think it's safe to say he's the official second in command to luffy. i do agree that him and sanji are luffy's "wings" though
Especialy now where Toei Animatons has been Hacked because of which it may be delayed to about 2 weeks or so just because some Fucker thought it was Funny.
I was always worried about the length, but when I started watching it, time went fast. It is easy to binge. Oda leaves you wanting more and more. After getting into it, length wasn’t an issue. Hearing the show will end soon kinda hurts.
Soon as in 5-7 Years or so because there is still Elbaf and i am pretty surethere was Kano (where Cinjao is from) but perhaps thats never gonna be an arc. And also they must still fight against Shanks and Blackbeard and there is also the final battle against the World Goverment and also getting to Raftel (Laughtale) where the One piece is and also still that Joyboy stuff whatever that is aboout.
@@blackred3058 Should be and maybe Garp, Korby and perhaps even Sengoku will Switch sides to dethrown the current World goverment because they know and hate what they are doing.
To clarify their rolls on the ship, Luffy is the Captain, Zoro is the swordsman and vice captain, Nami(orange hair girl) is the navigator, Usopp(long nose) is the sniper/liar, Sanji(blonde bowl cut) is the cook, Chopper is the doctor(medical), Robin(leather girl) is the archaeologist, Franky(speedo cyborg) is the shipwreight/carpenter, Brook(skeleton) is the musician, and the blue monster guy is a fishman named Jinbei that acts as their helmsman.
@@UltimateGamerCC That doesnt really matter because he like already lost like idk 50-60% of his Lifespan from Gear 2nd and Ivankovs Injection against Magellan's Poisen but he wont die before he becomes Pirate King and fights in the Final war against the World Goverment.
actually the guy you keep seeing in the intros is Gold Roger, he was the King of the Pirates and upon his execution he told people that if they wanted his treasure, they had to go out and find it. this sparked The Great Pirate Era and from that point on, it was considered that whoever finds the One Piece shall become the NEW King of the Pirates. Luffy dreams of being just that, so he sails out on a Dinghy with no crew and sets off on his quest, making friends along the way who have their own dreams and aspirations, sailing with him to help him achieve his goals as well as trying to make their dreams come true in the process. the worldbuilding in this anime is insane, to which i'll add that none of these villains are really hunting Luffy, as a matter of factly they are the villains that he comes across on his journey to become King of the Pirates, while Luffy is a Pirate he has a heart of gold and has an absolute beef with ANYONE who cares to trash on another person's dreams. so as he increases his notoriety throughout the story, he's getting that notoriety by doing nothing evil. as for the Red Haired guy, that's Shanks, Luffy's mentor and not his dad, though in a way he can be considered one, since Luffy looks up to him so much.
I like how most people see brook as this evil incarnate while he's actually the opposite of it even his voice is sweet he's my favorite character ngl.....specially in whole cake island arc he was the MVP...
One Piece is pretty long... Right now there's 1011 episodes and 1040 chapters. But, here is the thing... When you catch up, you'll ask for 1000 more episodes and chapters. It's not a joke, this is how good One Piece is! Don't worry about the length, you don't need to see everything at once. 1 episode per week, is fine! You only have to enjoy the story.
@@BubbysWorld Just watch a couple episodes a day, they are around 18 - 22 mins long if you don't count the intros and recaps. If you watch 2 - 3 episodes a day, it's like watching an episode from a TV - show which usually lasts around 45 - 55 mins. I had that mindset when I first started watching it, but then after not a lot of time had passed, I started loving it and binged it in less than 6 months. I personally feel like you should try to not focus on catching up and more on just enjoying the ride. Because when you've caught up, you'll want to experience it for the first time again.
One piece I can tell you is full of all types of drama including tragedy and Oda is a saint at connecting things from throughout all the episodes. Basically there's an importance to every character and moment and that's one thing besides from the journey I love about one piece.
I normally don't comment unless it's about crucial lore but i love your interaction with the videos as you watch them. It's pretty cool because a lot of reactions just let you watch the openings with them and rarely comment and critique them. Keep up the good work.
Unfortunately that means he doesn't really pay attention (or at least doesn't acknowledge it) to the music, which is arguably one of the most important parts of an opening.
Heh, anyone who claims the “too long” thing are just keeping themselves from thinking how to manage their time. I’m sure you can manage your time too enough watch the series which is quite the roller coaster ride in of itself.
I run multiple channels, livestream, have a full time job, and a personal life. I could watch an episode or 2 a night and that will be every night for years to come and i still wont be caught up. I manage my time as tightly as possible and still dont have time to do most of what i want to do. Not some, most. Some people simply don't have the time period.
@@BubbysWorld With all due respect, I disagree, because I've known people like that, but if you still really feel that way, you can always speed through the manga which is pretty great. In any case, hope more time opens up to you as life goes on, and enjoy what we all enjoy!
@electricmastro you literally cant disagree with me, its fact. do not have the time to watch one piece. It doesnt matter what you think 🤣. I appreciate your can do attitude but i guarantee you dont know anyone who stays as busy as me.
@@BubbysWorld you don’t necessarily need to watch the anime to enjoy one piece. Reading the manga is a good alternative for people who don’t have time. One chapter will take you less than 5 minutes and I’d argue I would only take a few months at most to catch up to the current events.
@@BubbysWorld Thats fair. Everybody's situation is different. I've known people with multiple jobs and kids who've managed to catch up in less than a month. If you think it's too much for you then I'm not going to disagree. However I will say that your mindset of "catching up" is holding you back. Thing is you COULD just watch 2 episodes a day. Or even just one. It doesn't matter. Because catching up isn't whats important. As long as you're enjoying the story you can catch up whenever you want. Theres no rush. People really need to stop thinking theres some kind of deadline for catching up or something. There isn't. If you end up watching and find out that you enjoy it, then just enjoy the ride. Because now that just means you have a good series to watch and you won't have to worry about running out of episodes. Because I can tell you from experience once you're deep into the series you will begin to FEAR the thought of catching up. Because it means you'll run out of episodes. Thats the kind of experience One Piece is. But hey if it's still not for you then thats fine. I'm just saying the idea of watching a couple episodes at a time shouldn't be much of a deal breaker.
You know it's a real blind reaction, when they say literaly everything wrong. If everyone you say is a villain is a villain, they would have died on like episode 30 or something.
I love hearing what people say about the character and story line, when they have no idea what is happening. Just more fun and funny to hear your thoughts.
'did this guy work out to get tall? thats not how that works! if it is then i would be.... well actually i don't work out.' this was the funniest part of the vid for me
- The last intro you reacted to was a special opening to celebrate 1000 episodes where they redid the 1st Opening to show how far we've come - OP 7 and 10th were also different versions of the 1st op in the 7th one the VA's of the strawhat crew sang the song and the 10th one was a remix - Opening 17th (the one where the fat black-beard guy spoke) was a 15th anniversary special op which is why the strawhats had those fancy outfits - The last few openings have that old japanese aesthetic cuz the island they visit is based off of Japan and is closed off from the rest of the world
People are always so focused on the visuals that they don't notice opening 7 SOUNDS different, it's the first opening sung by the crew, I believe it was for the 5th anniversary, later remixed for the 10th opening, and then played on episode 1000 with modern designs, animation and crew
Your analysis is hilarious. I would 100% love to see you react to One Piece episodes. If you’re looking for lore and just an amazing story with tons of history and world building, One Piece is the show for you.
If ADHD was a video, this would be it… 😂😂😂 im dying laughing. Bro you are hilarious, and very perceptive. A lot of OP opening reactions i watch everyone misses like everything in the openings but you were on point with a lot of it!
If you want to get started with one piece, there are 2 routes: 1) Watch the anime episode by episode, with the filler being optional. 2) Read the manga to speed through and watch the clips of your favorite moments animated as you go on. I did the second one and it only took me roughly a month to catch up
Yoooo Bubby reacting to One Piece stuff? Lets goooo fucking love One Piece and everything about it it's a long ass Anime but definitely worth watching at first it seems very long but once you're really into it you'll be glad you got so much to watch Also 12:42 is the same intro as intro 1 but sung by the main cast as some kind of "special" opening and 53:32 was the 1000 episode anniversary
the first repeat of the first opening was a special opening for the filler/recaps when the anime had caught up to the manga but instead it was the main cast singing it, then the second time was to mark 1000 episodes and it was re animated for how they all look now and all the new members
I love your reaction but I must tell you that technically Luffy like all pirates are criminals in this setting the only difference is that some pirate crews are generally ok and do some good and other crews are extremely violent and are villains. The guy in the 1st opening getting executed is Gol D. Rogers the former pirate king he left all his wealth in "one piece" and who ever gets to it will become the next pirate king
If you love storytelling and characters then this is for you and don't worry the animation gets much better even though it's okay the past animation. Also, love your reaction because you comment on a lot of staff and most people just sit there sometimes I also love the smoking dude that may get lung cancer the simp king
@Don Mike for you, but theres a lot more positive feedback than negative. You are in the minority. Above all i need to be having fun. Im not making content if im not enjoying it.
Just so you know about the flying ship part, it's not so much flying. It's more like rocket boosts that cost fuel to do the rocket jump. Great for emergency movement though.
No defuck its not..... Missing everything in the openings and talks over important scenes in openings, ignoring them. Kind of frustrating for me as a one piece fan💀
@@Farsine i get that but he is actually talking over important scenes. Come on man its like super obvious Ace dies and bro was confusing Ace with Shanks and thought Luffy was a dragon with his gear 4th transformation.
