A little over a year ago I said good bye to one of my all time favorite motorcycles, the Tenere 700. In this video we quickly go over all the mods I did and then take a ride with it's new owner to see how the bike has been treating him for the last couple thousand miles.

She's a handful of bike & the dirt roads I see you on are about as small as I'd want to do on a bike her size.... lol, but that's b/c I'm not able to be picking up that bike & I know I'd go down a few times. I've got to face the truth, we don't get stronger as we age, you might have the skills to keep from crashing but after picking that beast up 3-4 times out of the muck I'd be done for the day? Unless I had a strong young son to ride with..... and to lend me their bike...yeah, that's a plan! I happen to really like Yamaha products so I might buy one but I think the WR250 would be closer to something I could deal with. Ride safe Dad !

Good advice! I'll bet he ends up with a DR650 next year if he doesn't buy one before then. My guess is he'll keep the T7 for lighter stuff too though. It's just such a cool bike!

Papa always knows best. Great video guys. Putting the gen 3 up for sale or trade for something lighter.....maybe a Dr650, or a klx300...we travel all secondary roads now...max 50-60 mph. Garth

I've had a KLX 300 and absolutely LOVED IT. presently own a DR 650. And it's 💯 my new favorite bike I've ever owned for a one bike solution!! So you have 2 awesome bikes in your sights!!

I love my klx300 as well...just wish it had a little more torque to get the front wheel up over obstacles. Also have a Tenere 700 that I've put 16000 miles on. The bigger bore thumpers are intriguing, but I can't seem to get rid of the klx because of how light and agile it is. I've ridden an xr650l, and the vibration was quite noticeable compared to my klx. May try something in between eventually, like drz or crf450 🤷

Love watching your videos. I have a 2018 XR650L and I love it. I’m 6’4” 240lb and it carries me around just fine. By the way. Not being rude but, If you could get a pop filter to go in front of your mic it would clean up you voice and get rid of that popping sound when your talking.

Thank you! Ugh, I know! I keep trying to figure out a way to aim it so that doesn't happen, but I think you're right. I need to invest in one!
