“Look at me I’m Mr Meeseeks. I’ve been trying to help Jerry for two days. An eternity in Meeseeks time and nothing’s worked. I fear the worst.” “Your failures are your own old man.”
1:10 sounds like they recorded him saying “DAMN IT!” once and played it over and over. Almost sounds like when you’re spamming a quick move in a fighting game.
Actually, the concept for Mr Meeseeks stared off as disposable robot assassins called Scuds. First you’d pay a Scud vending machine 25 cents which would deploy a Scud. You’d then tell the Scud who you wanted to kill and they’d carry out your order. They’d cease to function after the killing took place. That is until one Scud went rogue and decided it wanted to live forever, so instead of killing its target it wounded him instead. To pay for the medical Bill of the target once in the hospital, the rogue Scud would take any contract assassination jobs it could get.
“Your failures are your own old man!” To a dude thats only been born for 2 days I get they age faster or something like that but God I was fucking weezing when I first heard that 🤣
That sucks then because I can’t wait to see the rest of the episodes but according to this they won’t make me laugh if this was the best episode. Which I believe it is as well. Should I continue even watching now?
Can we just take a second to appreciate the dark genius of the Meeseeks Box. After all it creates/summons a being that’s existence is painful and is only free/die once they complete whatever task the person that pressed the button. This makes the being compelled to try everything it can to achieve the task. That is what Rick meant by they aren’t gods. As it’s not that they can’t do somethings but if it’s too difficult they become hostile as they use rigid logic to achieve the goal. Like killing Jerry.
That’s kinda summed up human. When everyone had goals they can’t reach, they tend to use any way to achieve it no matter how. Like if people can’t get rich by working, some people will rob.
@@johnblack8655Very good point. Whats funny is that they actually had a Hellraiser demon parody episode, with the cube and everything, back in Season 5.
If you pushed the button to summon a Mr. Meeseeks, and told it, “Summon another Mr. Meeseeks and give him the same command, word for word, that I am giving to you,” the box would be rendered unusable by anyone other than a Mr. Meeseeks, because the Mr. Meeseeks would be in a never ending cycle of summoning each other.
Actually it's been established in the Rick and Marty comics that meeseeks can die if they kill there summoner. That is why when ever a meeseeks have a hard time completing a task they turn to violence.
I just realized something. That Meeseeks that got task of "kill him" shouldn't have disappeared when Jerry made the shot. Unless the one targeted for death disappearing due to the shot somehow counted as "kill him". The one tasked with "kill him" should be unable to ever disappear.
I know that the Joke is supposed to be that Jerry fucks up at everything, but the first time I watched it, I thought the joke was how easy Beth's and Summer's problems were to solve. Beth wanted to be a more complete woman and Summer wanted to be more popular at school. Both of those problems were solved within less than a day, making me wonder if they were ever really problems to begin with.
Jerry just wants to prove that mr.meseeks isn't fool proof Rick introduced an all problem solver and Jerry wanted to see what they would if maybe someone struggled a bit.
I finally understand the part where they’re all saying “but what about him, he roped me into this” They’re basically describing the existence of humans or a species that pass on there genes to survive
When i first saw the meseeks, i was laughing so hard i couldn’t breathe, i was crying with laughter, and my ribs were actually hurting, that was when i was first watching R&M, but on subsequent viewings, i just grin and chuckle. My favourite bit has to be “I’m Mr Meseeks!” “KILL HiM!”
The best line is the manager after the hostage situation Jerry: we'll take our meal to go Manager: no you won't. The police are coming. You have so many questions to answer
When the first time I hear his voice, I immediately knew it was Roiland cause of Lemongrab, and that’s when I know something fucked up going to go down about Mr.Meeseeks
Fun fact: when the meeskeeks says “LOOK AT ME” because he wants for someone to notice him and to give him a command so he can die, to summarize he wants to die
2 things I never noticed until right now😂. 2:56 There's an extremely deformed headed Meeseeks all the way left. 3:01 Never realized he said "Can Doooo, Yeah you son of a biiiiitch"😂😂😂
