There is a chance, although she is batshit crazy, I do not think she is also a cheater, but doing the test would be a good idea. It is not like he is risking his relationship if he asks.
What kind of idiot thinks that someone is going to want to be with them after they call their relationship with their daughter "creepy and incestuous"?
For story 1, which I've been following on Reddit, you find out that the now ex has five different bay daddies, including OP. I'm not sure what's wrong with his self-esteem, but his now ex is a walking red flag highlighted with red spotlights and an air raid siren.
So Alice thought she found herself a sucker, and got herself pregnant to ensure that she got what she wanted. OP needs to make sure that his will reflects Stacy inheriting the home.
What the hell is wrong with Alice? She was soooo obviously jealous of OPs daughetr. She wanted him to parent her kids, to be the same father he was to Satcy to her kids and to herself. Alice is a disguting person, who was trying to manipulate OP into literally picking her over his own kids. OP didnt dodge a bullet, but a massive tactical nuke and at least he saw the red flags.
Im 5 minutes in and I’m confused why OP decided to put the nursery in the basement instead of moving his office to the basement, and nursery to the office.
Probably not his kid anyway, the way she was trying to claw money out of him and try to take over his whole house with no regard to the daughter. She was lucky to even be invited to the house in the first place.
Oh and all the kids are from different men. Op was based for standing up for his daughter, and not letting a leech ruin his home and relationship with his daughter.
@@korygraves6739 OP also has all three off his bio kids from different woman. I think everyone sucks here for making silly decisions. Nobody the genuinely wanted to look after anyone’s non-biological kids. OP Is more nice and subtle about it and was trying to work it out, while the ex was more bold and disrespectful about it. Everyone sucks here but there’s only one ah and that’s the ex
Geez dude, just drop the woman! She’s after money and a house. She’s already creating drama in your once peaceful home. I feel sorry for your daughter cause it’s only been you and her, but now she has to put up with 4 kids and your girlfriend giving her the stink eye and I would bet that when you aren’t around girlfriend is making her feel bad for not giving up her room and bathroom to her daughters and telling her she’s a rotten daughter cause she’s spoiled. Why do you even need to tell your girlfriend you’re sending your daughter her allowance? It’s none of her business! Just opens up the conversation to have a fight because she expects you to give her kids the same treatment as your own daughter. They have a father, and I am assuming, child support. If she’s not going after the fathers for child support, then that’s on her. Child support for 4 kids would add up and help her pay for rent somewhere else…which I would suggest!
Yeah she’s a piece of work. I will say I think he IS unfair about not moving the office, compromise is a thing. You want to blend your family you need to make a sacrifice. Plus it isn’t a good idea at all to put the nursery in a finished basement. Unless there are full windows, that is dangerous. I do think he’s not flexible which will not work. He doesn’t understand communication and compromise. She was still a walking red flag though.
I think OP should wait for his daughter to grow up to be in a new relationship. Especially dating a woman with that many kids, and move them in with him and his daughter. The set up from the beginning already look so messy. And definitely should get a DNA test for the baby just to be sure.
Story #2 - The house painting. I can't speak for OP, but barring some really unhinged action on the part of the neighbors, there's only one way this plays out. First, the cops were half-right/half-wrong in their assessment (which is usually how that goes). This IS vandalism. It's no different than if they had sprayed graffiti on the house. The fact that it was a flat color and not a street tag is irrelevant. Paint is paint. That said, the cops could not have made an arrest based on the information and evidence OP had at the time. But they should have taken a report and given OP an incident number to give to her insurance. In fairness to the cops, while this is actually both a civil and a criminal matter, they only work on the criminal side of things, and there wasn't enough evidence when they were consulted, and they're not going to know the laws on this because it's not something they deal with very often, lol. OP's homeowner's insurance would be the first call. They HAVE to cover it. By federal law, homeowner's policies must cover vandalism. The insurance company would then do their own investigation and try to sue the neighbors to recover what they paid out to OP. But unless there's a criminal report or a ruling from a court, they'll deny the claim because it's not established legally as vandalism yet, and they don't want to get stuck with the bill. So OP needed that incident number. The cops did drop the ball there. They could have taken the report and told her as much and saved everyone a lot of time and frustration. Fortunately, that was rendered moot. When the neighbors sued for reimbursement of the paint costs, they essentially admitted to having done this. And their previous failed attempts to sue work against them. They're huge idiots, as every commentor was happy to point out. Their case will be kicked before even getting to court in most cases. It's baseless. OP can bring that to their insurance and get reimbursed and re-paint, and the insurance company will sue the neighbors. OP can also sue the neighbors for harassment in hopes of getting an HRO (Harassment Restraining Order), which doesn't require them to maintain a specific distance or anything, but would prohibit them from initiating any contact with OP, either directly or by proxy. In the end, the neighbors will have a court order to shut up and f^^k off, they'll have essentially paid two times the market rate to paint someone else's house, and it will get a nice new bright yellow paint color that will last years, maybe even decades longer than the last paint job, lol. And of course they will pay court costs, their own lawyer etc, which by the end, will cost them likely about the same as the two paint jobs. They'll be out ~$25k in the end for no gain. That's how it "should" go, but you never know with crazy people, they might do something stupid and make the situation a lot worse. So who knows...
Asking Stacy to give up her room was a dick move, however... OP was still treating the other kids as "other" which... Also a dick move. Like, Alice is a bit...Flaggy... but OP was also not fully committed to being an equal stepdad to the other kids. Maybe I misheard, but didn't he straight up say he wouldn't be giving, or contributing, to an allowance to them? In that one instance, OP was definitely in the wrong, and if I was Alice I might also have some concerns about OP not treating his step kids equally. I'd have talked it out like a fucking adult though. Geez.
Yes, he says "my daughter is the priority" which is generally okay to say. But not in a case where you're about to become a stepdad and make those kids your "own".
They are not his kids, he is already doing enough by saving Alice for paying rent and to ask her for cover just 20% of their spends when they are about to become almost the 80% of the house spends. Do the numbers before thinking he is doing wrong for not giving extra money for the other 4 kids that are not his. Why Alice dont use the extra money she is saving now that she has free rent and give more money to her kids? Alice should ask their dad's for money and let Op's daughter alone, she already give up a full room for them and that b1tch keeps wanting for this teen to give up more stuff for her and her kids. Op's daughter life style should not suffer just bc his father decided to make a new life with a woman with 4 kids a new to come. Your claim is brainless.
Imagine a man allowing you to move into his house purely out of the kindness of his heart. Instead of being grateful, you try to manipulate more out of him. Damn, that woman has some screws loose. I hope OP ditches her soon because, frankly, I'm not so certain the baby is his. He should get a paternity test first.
I was reading this on Reddit as it was going on. OP is the GOAT. He stood by his daughter showing her she would not be replaced with stepkids, he stood up to the GF when she made her demands, then ended it when he finally saw her as the massive red flag she is. OP's daughter will remember this and I am glad she has a parent that will show her the love and support she deserves.
I don’t understand why OP decided to date someone with kids when he clearly sounds like he wasn’t comfortable with the idea of it early on. The same with OP’s gf. Don’t date someone with kids if you aren’t ready to see those kids as your own.
@@RepellentJeff exactly that’s the root of all their issues, none of them wanted to have non-biological kids to look after after. OP describes his own daughter as his first priority which is fair enough, but then why did he take on a bunch of other kids then? And so does OP’s girlfriend. A quick conversation at the beginning of the relationship would’ve sorted everything out.
@RepellentJeff I don't know if he was thinking at all. Like, I'd never seriously date someone with 4 kids unless I wanted to be a dad and knew I couldn't have any of my own. Even then, really? He choose someone with 4?
He was probably grieving, and based on her actions, she probably preyed on that to try and drain him dry. Humans are evil creatures, and will exploit the weak and vulnerable to get ahead. The problem isn't op dated someone with kids, it's that the ex was a horrible person and tried to extort him, and even baby trapped him
@@Afrogirrl Exactly, giving his daughter and unborn daughter $100 a week would've led to massive resentment. Kids won't care about the nuance if they're broke while their sisters are going on shopping sprees.
Story 1: The only thing I criticize OP for is $400 monthly allowance for a teenager. That is a lot of mony for a teen that doesn't pay bills or buy groceries. The other children will without a doubt resent her and their unborn sister if he treats them that differently.
I still cannot believe how some people have that amount of audacity I get it. Op must be so embarrassed to fall into a woman with zero redeeming quality
The fact that this man did the kindness of his heart to let you come live with him and then you saying that he's having an affair with his daughter is most disgusting thing I could ever hear
I agree with Alice as far as the $100 a week is concerned. Getting that every week is not great parenting. If it isn’t a bday or Christmas the you can get off jobs to earn yourself
