When I worked at IHOP which was on a city line between the suburbs id work overnights and allot of drunk people would come in,but whats funny is the Blacks Servers would argue or draw straws with the White Servers on who would be waiting on the black customers who came in because they all knew black people don't tip. It was actually pretty funny how it would play out because at first the white servers would keep it to themselves because they didn't wanna come off as "discriminate" until the black servers started talking about and then it became a running joke. Anyone who has ever worked in restaurants would tell you the same thing.
I have worked in restaurants and u speak the truth. Other black servers didn't want a table of blacks. Black ppl admit freely they don't tip. it's well known and not a big deal besides it being terrible taste in not tipping, but the tip should match the service. The waitresses used to flip coins about who would serve the "Canadians", as they were called in code lol.

Customer claims he tipped 21%, but the call starts off: Guy 1: "Did he tip you?" Guy 2: "Not at all." Guy 1 starts the jokes. Customer is either lying, or the delivery guy is randomly lying to his buddies face.
Apparently they expect you to tip even when ordering carryout. The few times I've used a card while buying carryout, the machine asked "how much tip are you leaving?" Who's getting this tip?

If I'm in there more than once, I don't want a bad reputation from the people making my food; its worth a couple bucks for peace of mind knowing that I'm not a jag to these people. Otherwise, GTFO with the carry-out tip. What extra service did you provide; bringing my food from the area that I'm not allowed in? Not outright handing me a loose pizza with nothing holding it together?
21% is crazy for delivery that’s great I delivered pizza. You don’t need to tip % for delivery. $4 is good for any order size from $1-$100. After that tip more
You didn't work in affluent neighborhoods because I'm black and delivered n lived in beautiful areas and the blacks that are making good money tip well.

The driver obviously didn't know he was recording the conversation, so he has no reason to lie to whoever he was talking with. The customer most likely tipped 0 and claimed he tipped 21% to not look like a cheap ass. Not that he deserved the racist opera tune but he most likely didn't tip the driver anything.
No one's gonna read this comment cause this video is almost 5 years old, but I watched the original video and I have a feeling the black guy DID NOT tip and then after he found the voicemail, he wrote a tip on his receipt so he would look like the innocent one when he uploaded the video to RU-vid. If you listen closely at the very beginning here, you can hear the guy's coworker say: (1:18) "Did he tip you?" and the "racist" guy says (1:20) "Nope! Not at all." or something like that.
im a college student and work delivery part time and black people rarely tip. The exception are blacks in the military they usually do tip. It's true and not racist at all to say lol

I delivered food in nice upper middle class areas and didn't see a difference in tipping between the races more of a difference between the ages like the younger the cheaper and women aren't as good at tipping than the men.
