College football figured it out too- if you look at maps of the most popular college football team in each state it’s almost exactly the same. These mega cities export culture just as much as they export goods and services. If you look at presidential election maps it’s been mega cities vs small towns for a long time- political views aside, whomever wins the city of Philadelphia basically wins the state of Pennsylvania. Similar with Chicago and the state of Illinois.

awfpunisher I'll be honest I was kind of an anti Opie guy but when you listen to Jim, Sam ant and chippah try to keep a show going you realize he wasn't funny but he was a great facilitator.
I kinda agree. When I watch his stand up, he's funny. But it's not laugh out loud funny to me. It makes me smile and I find it pretty funny, but it's not like when he's just talking. When he's talking casually and naturally, like he does in these O&A clips, he's on a whole new level of funny that has me in tears every time I listen.

I think New England, NJ, PA and NY are like the same family, attitudes are similar, we all cousins which is why we hate each other. So put that all under the same roof. Since cannabis was made legal in denver, only makes since to let that get sucked into LAville.

It’s clips like this where I really appreciate Danny. He was so on top of his shit, he knew it was going to be a good bit before Patrice even did. He knew to start documenting Patrice’s idea because Patrice was just thinking out loud and didn’t have this idea set in stone. Once they read back Danny’s documentation, Patrice thought it over and reorganized it again. Danny, as much of a shit head he could be, was really fucking good at his job. @8:15

Very true. I'm sure lots of people love Jimmy otherwise he wouldn't be successful, but really dislike his standup. But on the radio in the O&A atmosphere, he's incredible.
