2023, what a year!
We've attended 16,000 incidents, visited around 10,000 people to help them stay safe at home. We've inspected lots of businesses to keep people safe at work.
We've refurbed our control room and Shoeburyness Fire Station. We’ve brought in new assets like drones to help us deal with incidents and a tractor to help us engage with our rural communities.
We've welcomed 134 new firefighters, 76 support staff colleagues and 4 control room operators.
Hundreds of you have visited our fire stations and fire museum this year and thank you to everyone for donating generously to our fundraising causes at car washes, grottos and sponsored events.
We look forward to seeing what 2024 brings!
