Owasso, OK is a destination community. Quality of life thrives in this suburban city. We invite you to take a peek and encourage you to come and see for yourself.
Kudos to the Owasso Chamber of Commerce, Owasso City Planning, Tulsa County & the great business leaders helping to bring this great city into the 21st century and sharing this story about our growth.
this was an amazing video which showed me alot more than i ever have learned about Owasso Oklahoma.. who would of thought how much the community has thrives over the years! such a beautiful place
Let's start with how many times they showed their city golf course. I counted zero! However, they did show a private club way out of town that only a few will ever step foot on. THEY DIDN'T SHOW THEIR OWN ONE TIME. How many parking lot and traffic shots did you see during the video compared to natural beauties and places of relaxation. Yeah, that ratio is a lot to a little. Then we got to finally hear Rodney Ray explain the goal of this "City of Character" of ours. It had something to do with investors making as much profit or return on their investment in the next 20 years as the previous 20. SAY WHAT! A city of character should be one of family values, parks, playgrounds, jogging trails, not hoards of people in what used to be a wonderful place to live. It's not bad now, but it is going south. This used to be an awesome place. It's the new Broken Arrow now. Yeah, that's what we want to be. Just like 71st Street. Mmmm good fun there!
I miss Collinsville and I miss Owasso but I still go to Collinsville schools still go to Owasso Walmart it's amazing I would thank Owasso for giving me the things I love the most
Lets not leave out the amount of horrible roads. Potholes, cracks, uneven railroad crossings (116th by funtastic island and 106th and 97th). When will the Garnett widening project be done? Garnett is absolutely horrible. Also, there needs to be recreational activities. Not everyone wants to watch movies, bowl, and roller skate. I only go into Owasso to shop and grab a bite to eat, I’ll stay in Collinsville for now.
I lived in Oklahoma all my life and I had to move away from Collinsville and then to Tulsa and I would always go to Owasso Walmart to get groceries with my mom
There aren’t any bars or places to hangout on a Friday night? How do you spend your weekend evenings if you’re in your 20’s and 30’s? I’m 32 and I’m relocating there for work next year.
Don't let this video fool you. It very much is still a bedroom community of Tulsa. I like Owasso, spent most of a couple of years living in the Candlewood Estates motel while working at Tulsa International. The fact is though if the jobs fail in Tulsa, Owasso is closing those strip malls.
I have to ask why the racial demographics of Owasso aren't reflected in this video? Why are all of the shots of white people? This is subtle (and not so subtle) racism.
A suggestion for the next video. Put more time in talking about Rejoice Christian School. I went there and it was the best years of my life. Also, on the Indian Culture. Being that mostly people who live here are Indian. We are proud of our heritage and put it in place with other things
iSquamata Tulsa IS a boring place. The people there are extremely rude to many diverse people, including myself. In owasso, everyone is so nice and there is so much stuff to do. I love it here, so if you don’t like Owasso, than kee your opinions to yourself 🤷🏽♀️
