I loved the comment of one of the celeb panel members after the performance: 'He didn't choose this song solely to win the competition but rather to enjoy the stage.' 💛 Too bad that the recent king sang a ballad too, so 'black widow' outshined both with her rock song. You did a good job, Jaehwanie!

I rarely know about idols or singers singing PHS songs, just a few. But when they're singing his song the aura are different depend on the singer. This one so soft but amazing.

PHS composed for his own voice & (formidable) technique, so his performances of his own songs, like this one, reflect his range, breath control and sustained tonal quality over long melodic lines. Other singers, like this one, who are brave enough to try to cover PHS’s songs deserve admiration - and this guy’s voice has a lovely tone to it - but the closest I’ve heard in skill to PHS is Seventeen’s Seungkwan’s cover from 2017.
