Received a few items from my friend Andrew in North Carolina to try in today’s shave. The Parker Injector razor I’ve been asked many times to try, so I’ll be trying it out for the first time today. Also Stirling Soap’s Scarn Soap has the similar scent to Sauvage Cologne. Also a cool new brush from Yaqi Shave Brush- Atlantis 24mm Synthetic.
From their website-
“Inspired by one of our favorite television shows and Sauvage by Christian Dior. We have been receiving requests for this scent for years. If you're unfamiliar, it's a fresh, spicy, woodsy scent with notes of pepper, bergamot, lavender, vetiver, geranium, patchouli, cedar, and labdanum.”

Fitting video for today. Performed my first wet shave with a brush and Proraso geeen from Shave Nation. Gillette King C from Walgreens and same Nivea Men balm. New addiction. Quite a learning curve but I’ll get it!

I’m a 22 year old, don’t grow much facial hair except for on my neck. I’ve found a new love for keeping it nice and smooth. Watching you is great, it’s like watching a dad express his hobby and me getting into it myself.

BIC DE blades are horrible lol I used one just once and I couldn’t even finish the shave with it because the blade tugged and pulled so bad. I had to switch to a different blade to finish the shave.

Nice shave Ken💈💈 Looks to be a good razor, Parker does a good job usually, especially with the price point. Even though I've only got one Parker; the Variant, it's an excellent shaver. Stirling=top shelf. That brush is unique, nice handle for sure. Great video, thanks. Enjoy the party and freedom.

I just recently bought 2 of my first Schick Inkectors. I got a back and silver model L and a Model B repeating Razor The model L is in great condition just has a little chip in the plastic molding, and the Repeating Razor is in pretty bad condition. I only got it for $20 but I’m thinking about getting it re-plated. Definitely not gonna shave with it because it’s a little rusty and gunky, and that’s after I cleaned it. The Model L was very mild and smooth though, really enjoyed it. I bought a few packs of Schick Blades and a pack of New Old Stock GILLETTE PLATINUM PLUS!!!

I have a Schick adjustable injector and it's excellent. You have to be careful on the higher settings though. Also the Everlast SE is a little more aggressive out the gate. I can see these razors making a comeback. Thanks for the video

As long as you remove the blade from the razor, you can take it in your carry on luggage. I did and was fine at security. I use the supply co injector 2.0 with their new blade. It is supposed to be a personna blade but the said the newer blade is a new Japanese blade reminiscent of feather blades. I also use the new trial open comb attachment that Steve, sent me to try with his new blade, pre-production.

I’ve been using that razor for a couple months now and I like it a lot!! I’ve tried the Schick blade and I like them more that whatever came it it. The blades it came with were not bad at all tho. I believe Feather makes injector blades so I’d like to try those. Thanks for the video!

I’ve always liked the old Schick single edge injectors. Used them for many tears, but recently went back to DE which are more comfortable

I got the PAA doppelgänger black label set , it smells just like it as well cause I have a little sample of the real one from “SCENT-BOX” I was never a FRAG-HEAD, but I recently started buying some fragrances lately. I just bought Polo Ultra Blue and a 2-pack box set of the Polo RED & BLUE 15 ml

Another good video. Very tempting to order one of these. I still have a few razors I've never tried after buying, fat boy/slim/Eveready little lather catcher lol. Got behind and loved a few others to long. I have a good pal injector and a g model I think Schick. An older movie that is great if you haven't seen it is Gattaca. Take care and have fun at Disney.

In my experience injector blades last longer than DE blades so price differential per shave is negligible.

Just used this today and had a pretty rough shave. I also have a very sharp jawline and high cheek bones (Native). It's my first injector, I'm used to DEs. I used the Parker branded blades though which I heard can be pretty bad. I'm wanting to try a vintage Schick though and found a few 60s standard injectors and a 70s adjustable online that look promising. I love my DEs but something different would be fun if it shaves well.

Ken, I've used the Proraso green preshave for years, but only just bought the White preshave. It's great and has no menthol, so interferes less with the scent of the soaps. Stay safe and enjoy your shaves.

The Schick injector blades last a lot longer and that's why it costs $7 a jacket (7 blades). I have a very course beard and it lasts 20 plus shaves vs the 3 or 4 shaves with the DE. It could be the thickness or the quality on why it lasts.

Heard good things about that Parker, most say it's a mild razor which would suite me. Unfortunately getting Injector blades is problematic for me. Love the look of that Yaqi brush handle.

About it being off the website--this happened to Deep Blue Sea a few weeks ago. I was horrified and nearly bought out another vendor's stock... until it came back in stock on Stirling's website a few days later. So helpfully it's temporary and will come back. I love Sauvage and would really like to try this soap.

Fun Fact: The name of the soap, Scarn, is a reference to The Office and Michael Scarn. Stirling is known for doing stuff like that. Other soaps of theirs that are references to TV shows (that i know of) are Dunshire and Haverford, both references to Parks & Recreation (Cones of Dunshire and Tom Haveford). This is confirmed by Rod. I also personally believe that Duke and Duchess are also a reference to Parks & Recreation (Duke Silver aka Ron Swanson and his "Duchess" Diane Lewis), but I can't get Rod to admit it.

Don't mean to be a party pooper. I agree with Andrew From NC. I've tried to like the razor, but it's too mild and I don't like the angle. It's a nice looking razor but my schick clone I bought from Wal mart for a third of the price shaves like a dream. Parker needs to go back to the drawing board.

Whatever you do, don’t watch The Women in the Window. Watched it with my wife because she read the book. Another not so subtle callback to The Rear Window. It’s an atrocious film. And I adore Amy Adams and Gary Oldman. There was no saving this film.
