the world may be a mess but patricia taxxon keeps pumping out great albums at a frankly stunning pace, listening to them has been a definite highlight of the last couple years

This whole album is so beautiful and refreshing in its composition, sound design, production, lyricism, vocals (both yours and your guests'), and overall energetic flow. It's energizing and relaxing, full of fun frenetic transients and dynamic turns. The synths are full of life, and I love your high-frequency sound design - it beats boring generic hi-hats on every song. Thank you for blessing our ears and minds as usual!

The noise channel magic in that first song reminded me vividly of some dreams I had a while back. So, umm, thanks. It's a delight to come across stuff like this in general. Makes me want to start composing again, maybe finally get to where I can make something half as decent as this.

the use of empty space, next to a beautiful blue color with warm neon shading is beautiful the music is very good, i enjoyed the ambience and noise and the song with CJ the X was great. very palpable! thank you, patricia the first song was interesting, it was welcoming to what this album would be at my first listen to the album, it really grows on you as a favorite

this makes me feel like my brain is imploding in the best way

The last couple of minutes of the last song felt like someone would`ve tapped my scalp rapidly but with, I dunno, a metallic hairbrush that has thick, soft ended bristles. At first it felt uncomfortable, but then I noticed I like it. And I think that was the point of the song, to give the listener tactile sensations that they might enjoy. (Or well, it`s probably not the entire point of the song, it`s probably also a metaphor or something, and maybe the tactility of the sounds is a way to convey that metaphor.) What helped me feel those sensations was wearing headphones, obviously, because the soundwaves travel trough the materials in the headphones and in to my ears/head. To be sure, I tested if I felt the vibrations when listening with my laptops shitty speakers, and no, I didn`t. I`ll have to listen to the whole album again at some point, because I want to notice if perhaps there`s more songs in the album that does the same thing. Because I wasn`t really paying attention this first time I listened to it, I usually don`t manage to pay all that much attention the first time I listen to an album.

Another album catching me by surprise! Happy for it tho. Really like the rhythm of more noisey stuff and then rap back and forth, it feels kind of like they are framing each other in a sense. Favs from the album would be somewhere between "Words'll" which has that emotionally raw energy i love in your recent works, and "cage" since its a nice long piece thats easy to get lost in

Ngl Digital Counterpoint was an interesting clash between rap and electronics, tho Patricia did warn that this is all experimental lol. Either way, I loved Panty Hose, Gnaw, and Words'll. Wish I could find more stuff like it

Love Panty Hose and all the instrumental stuff. Imo Word'll and Digital Counterpoint are a little too busy during the rap part. Gotta leave some breathing room for the lyrics I think. Still. Great album :D

Most of this was pretty terrible apart from the rapping that didn’t sound autotuned. Did you make the beats by pressing random buttons?
