Always happy to see and hear Paul. Almost all the shit that happens to men (by women) is of their (men's) own making. When it comes to marriage, men just put their blinders on and jump right into marriage/relationships and just "hope for the best". I just want to tell them HOPE IS NOT A GOOD PLAN.

The thing I really dig about Paul's stance is that he's not sitting there just taking shots at women. He's making it clear that men are fully responsible for what kind of women they let in. A lot of these women are transparent, and you can see all sorts of red flags from day one if you are paying attention and care about your future.

The credit rating agencies are right. Something as simple as a woman's credit score is a good way to assess her core values, compatibility, how she views money, agreeableness and preparedness to be a wife.

I had a friend who I lost touch with about 5 years ago. He married woman I told him not to marry in 2004. They were in couple therapy before the marriage. She TOLD him she was a nasty human being and yet married her. He got a son from her, and I hope it is biologically his, but they divorced shortly after the boy was born and she went back to Spain. Spot on about credit scores. It says so much about a person. Sadly, most people are in debt, and when entering a relationship that should be discussed and fleshed out. Been divorced since 2015. I so wanted find that person whom I could build with and found out a very small % of females have zero debt. After my marriage I told myself I’m just gonna be up front about it, so that way I can avoid wasting my $ and time. It’s been lonely from the perspective of companionship. It’s been liberating not dealing g with the stress of emotions unbalanced individuals

There is no such thing as an independent, rational woman that a man can vet for. Because their nature is to follow their emotions. The only reliable way a relationship can work is if the man has legal authority over the woman, so as to prevent her from following her emotions.

Mr. Elam, let me tell you what I do when I vet women. This is kind of long, but I think it's all needed to say. First way I treat them exceptionally well and don't tell them no. Get them comfortable and when they're comfortable, see how they treat me. But there is a better way. A much faster way that I vet women and the way is what I usually do.... I find out all of their most uncomfortable insecurities. I get them in public and I say the absolute worst things I can about her in public just to see what her reaction is. I've had a woman put a gun to my head. I have had them say the absolute worst things imaginable to me. I do this to see what their reaction would be when they get angry. You can learn so much about a person when they are angry then I get away from those situations and then I tell them later what I did and why I did it. But of course I never pursue anything with that woman after that test

Yes, watch their basic spending habits and how they handle paying their bills-and how many storage units they and their immediate family have-and how many of the immediate family members are hoarders. Some will break all of these bad chains, others….well, do your homework and decide what is reasonable and what is not. No need, demand or expectation of perfection from anyone, including the other half of the relationship, but sometimes you just have to say “no.” Good luck to all.

Women are expensive. Good, bad or indifferent if you get into a relationship with them it will cost the man a lot of money. I've seen it over and over again in my long lifetime. The question was for me and still is: I see the red flag but I emerged into adulthood as an obedient boy in a big body. I also have a man owned business in a feminine profession in the United States, psychotherapy. It was and still is -- in fact it's much worse now --accepted that women are better than men. I have a therapist in my practice now who was told to speak less because he's male. I tried to see a local psychologist for therapy but told me that saying "my daughter" made her into an object, a possession if i say 'my' - and she used to teach the graduate classes! a whole book could be written on just my own and my patients' experience

I think he touched on an important point at the end - the selfishness of men. Yeah, men will delude themselves, but they'll also happily undercut other men if they think it'll get them ahead somehow. This is a natural trait that used to be combated by social norms and religion. Every culture recognized that young men needed to be guided and their combative tendencies focused into activities that made for a better family and society. Then the leftists very smartly undermined that, stripping away the safeguards that made the culture work. This is why they attacked the Father figure first.

@6:30. The typical trajectory of a traditional marriage. He works, she stays at home. All good, until "the relationship ends", ie. she surprises him with a divorce. Then he's toast because the divorce laws, while nominally gender neutral, try to preserve the "status quo", ie. him providing, she at home with the kids. Except that now he's providing for kids he doesn't see, while living in a lousy flat, or on the streets, and is a "deadbeat dad". And, yes, usually happens after 7 to 10 years, (@7:10) when he's at peak earning potential. ie. also peak effort. "You're never home" - because he's trying to keep up with her spending.

One point I disagree with her on is the reason its better for the woman to not work is that as the primary caregiver of the child, high contact time is crucial for secure attachment to development (many studies on how daycare is harmful in this respect).

I like Paul's content. I'm confused about the notion of him talking to Pearl, who is no ally of men. I do sit down with women and talk about money, which is one of the reasons I think I'm single, because the women that catch my eye are all expecting me to provide for them as I would for a child. That's not traditional or desirable.

I like Elam very much and he's on target on many men's topics. But if any guys here think that the vetting of a woman means the state is not immediately involved when you cohabitate with a woman, you're not only naive but you deserve the results. Just a sidenote to keep in mind.

If a woman earns a lot of money, it's great protection in the event of a divorce / split. Also, it means she is less likely to be a parasite. If she is completely broke, she's likely to ask for an allowance, as soon as you start dating them.

Too bad I didn't have access to this advice in the mid-90s before I married my wife. I was 24 and never had a girlfriend before her (hell only on one date before my wife) and the infatuation stage was off the charts. My parents (who are divorced) didn't give me any advice. Throw in that people at church were all giving positive reinforcement on our relationship and I was ripe for making a stupid decision. Looking back, several, but not all of the problems we have in our marriage (mainly due to her issues) I could remember examples of before we married.

The nature of human beings is SIN. I think that is one of the biggest mistake we have made, men need to be spiritual leaders of their families & communities. Personally, I think men seek out virtue and women do not. I think you can easily see this by the popular male role models ( Jordan Peterson, Jocko, Goggins, ETC.). The issue in society is ALWAYS that men are accountable for everyone's actions. It always comes back to men. This is why men need to be the leaders in a community. I, unfortunately, have reached the conclusion that this is a never ending cycle that human's will struggle with until we go extinct. Strong men build, then get called the oppressor.

debt--an issue young people really did not have to deal with back in the 70s because we could not even get a credit card before we were 25 or so and well established in our careers. Heck, my dad didn't have a credit card in the 70s, LOL. But today? Banks will give credit cards to fish and student loans to bricks. A 20 year old college student could easily have 150K or debt and not even have a pot to piss in to show for it.
