Nice to see that Paul included a couple of people who don't get much stage presence anymore, such as Joe Cocker and Brian Wilson, chosen to sing upfront. Paul is a nice fellow :)
Should be performed before December 14. 20.15 cuz on 2005 others musicians and me,we're starting the Australian continent tour; ¡nd's my second experience since 1977 dawn on Mexicali on BAJA for inauguración of bullfighting bull plaza... Calafia. Then I run with I'm to Monterrey Mexico. Guadalajara.
2022 and even Tony Bennet was alive when this was filmed. I miss the wonderful Joe Cocker. Great to see these great musicians and as someone commented this song should be the anthem of the world. We need it now even more than ever!!!
I am a 65 English man, retired teacher in the London area. It's taken a while but I knew I would get there on the end. Thanks. Xxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx Surely, now have found the meaning
@@briwet2927 I was so in awe that everyone around the world could see it as it happened. If I remember correctly, the backing chorus was huge and included the Stones and Marianne Faithfull. I was pretty sure that satellite thing was going to catch on.
I thought Joe did the best job here, singing John's vocals. Better than Rod, and dare I say, Paul. For me, he just sounded like he had a better feel for Lennon's lyrics.
just heard this performance which brought me to tears- but was my all time favourite all along since the the first beginning in 67, this is the favourite song forever
Wow - I just found this and it is outstanding to see so many British Superstars on the same stage at the same time - this a once in a lifetime event - and what a great idea - love them all for this - from Canada
Eric..Ozzy.. Brian May!!!!
Paul McCartney, Bryan Adams, Queen, Elton John, Shirley Bassey, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Phil Collins, Ray Cooper, Ray Davies, Dame Edna Everage, Tony Iommi, Tom Jones, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Annie Lennox, Ricky Martin, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett, Blue, Emma Bunton, Atomic Kitten, The Corrs, Cliff Richard, S Club 7, Will Young, Ruby Wax, Brian Wilson, Steve Winwood and Tony Vincent.
My god , the sound, the singers, the history, the special place, the talented legends all at once.. Lord Lord I love them, sound so beautiful all together
All of "The Gang" were here that night. Love, Love, Love they sang. It is too bad that the World did not listen and remember. I hope that the memories of all of these people are somehow recovered to heal this shattering World. Baiba, I am sorry that all of this did not heal our relationship. Good Luck and Love to all of you
What a time!!!!! We did not care about cells, no internet, no fancy clothes, or houses, we only care about to be an intellect human being and most of all,ABOUT LOVE!!!!
This song is deceptively simple but then you start to notice the amazing syncopation of the opening lyrics which is NOT easy to sing well. John pulled it off; Rod Stewart not so much.
I miss George Harrison the most. Although I loved Joe Cocker and Leon Russell. Does that man ever have soul! Don't forget Johnny Winter. Best blues guitar along with Stevie Ray Vaughn.
This song usually begins by the French "Marseillaise" and is a real funny twist to this martial song... I like it "God Save" mode also but it is a little bit less tasty. Thank you for posting this great moment ! What a crowd !
Yes, amazing ensemble of talent! 60's mainly....my perception is that this is a hard world and Beatles uplifted us allll....just amazing how they are played somewhere every moment every day and night....
I never thought I’d see the day that Cliff Richard would be on the stage with Paul Mccartney and some of the others actually , I guess it doesn’t matter, it’s music!
This is a musical masterpiece and party. All this talent on stage, and it's sounding incredible 🎉🎉. They don't get down like this anymore. This is true geniuses playing amazing music 🎶 🎵. Keep rockin 🎉🎉
Amazing! Better than the recorded version. It made me cry. Unfortunately, I never got to see this man with his incredible, distinctive, evocative voice live.
What a wonderful rendition of such a legendary song! An hymn, a motto, the most direct, bright and meaningful message ever sent through rock music. And with all these top flight stars together. Love you Paul. Love you John.
He substituted the British national anthem for the French.......as originally composed by John Lennon. He's still giving John the middle finger now and then.......ridiculous.
@@relicofgold Aight man, I am not against what you're saying, but I think THIS particular time was fine for this change. I am not saying there was a bad blood and bossying of Paul, but you know what I mean.
@@Szuberciaszek Well he ALWAYS does that. I've never heard him play this song without the British National Anthem instead of the French. I'm not against Mac in the slightest, but this is petty on his part. I admire his immense talent on so many fronts and find it pathetic that someone of his glowing greatness (and I mean that sincerely) has to be petty. But the fact is, he's human, and none of us is perfect.
❤ Eric, Elton, Phil, Steve Winwood and Queen all my absolute favourites are up there..I do remember thinking "I wish Freddie couldve been up there with them" but then I've been sad about that since 1991
"And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love but the Greatest of these is LOVE." 1 Corinthians 13:13 A great song and so well presented...Thank you.
So I work at a retail clothing store and i bought this tye dye shirt that says all you need is love because I like the meaning behind it being a trans woman… and I wore it to work and a customer read my shirt told me there’s a song by the Beatles called “all you need is love” and how the tye die reflected the era and and how he loves my shirt and stuff, we continued to chit chat and recommended me to listen to this song and well now im happily here and honestly I thank him so much ❤️ much love from California
I really enjoy this people, I grow up with them, my heart bit so fast when I listened each song and that's why I m so happy to see them all together.so much pleasure LOVE YOU ALL
Paul did the best job with his turn at the verse and I really like his harmony singing in the chorus. He comes off as the best singer of the ones that traded lead vocals.
