No joke, I watched Ernst Lubitsch's "Trouble in Paradise" (1932) once several years ago, and there's a scene where this guy recording a perfume ad for the radio sings a jingle for "Collette and Company," a luxury perfume brand - and that song is so darn catchy and ridiculous that even now I constantly find myself singing it. In other words, I think I too have had my sense of humor destroyed by Ernst Lubitsch. I guess this is what they mean by the "Lubitsch Touch."

to me a "broken" sense of humor is when i laugh at things that i, by all accounts, shouldn't find funny, but my sense of humor has been conditionned to find them funny from so many videos pushing my sense of humor towards that direction
