Laura, my 5 year old daughter and I love watching your show! We've tried several of your recipes, and they've all been great! (especially the birthday confetti cake!)
That candy is great, my first time earning it I fell in love with it and can’t stop eating it, now you showed me how to make oh my god “ I will be making this candy very soon!
Ugh I just absolutely love your accent. I think I'm going to make this for my church party(: I watch your videos all the time, keep up the great work Laura!!(:
Hi Laura! I made this yesterday and turned out great! I used white chocolate chip morsels and turned out perfectly! It just needs a minute and 300 seconds to get very creamy and just perfectly smooth! Thanks for the recipe!
Great video Laura :) Peppermint has always been my favourite Christmas flavour and I've always found those peppermint candies great for so many Christmas desserts. That classic candy cane flavour. I've been making this bark and taking it into the hospital where I work the last few days and everyone has been enjoying it with some hot chocolate in between shifts ... festive food makes work so much better lol 🎄🎄🎄
omg the dance!!! laura you're sucha cute chef i love you! and... you make me feel like i can cook anything i want with your simple recipes. thank you for being my inspiration!
I will definitely try this for Christman. I must also tell you that I used you turkey recipe and your gravy recipe for Thanksgiving, and it turned out wonderful. It went over well with the family, no left overs. Your recipes are great, keep them coming. Again thanks.
I actually tried this recipe today, and ended up burning my white chocolate in the microwave. So I took it, stirred it, and it became brown, HOWEVER, it was SO delicious, especially after adding the peppermint candies. When they harden, the bark has this smoky smores taste to it, so good
just made these for my classes chrismas party. there soo good and i used fruit flavoured candy canes and for those of you who wonder if you don't have white chocolate buttons (candy melts)
Most recipes for peppermint bark involve stacking the white chocolate with peppermint on a layer of milk/dark chocolate. You do this by melting the black chocolate, spreading it out, putting it in the freezer for 10-20 minutes, then pouring your layer of melted white chocolate with peppermints on top. Freeze it again, let it set, then cut it up into bark.
i learned that you can use a sieve to shake in the powdered candy (the ones that are too fine) into the white chocolate and you can keep the slightly larger pieces for the top of the peppermint bark
I love making this with any leftover candy canes after Christmas time. Just a simple way for me to use up all the candy canes I will surely have haha :D Great video!

haha the ending was precious!!! I always assumed peppermint bark was difficult to make -- could NOT be easier! I bet you could use the same method and use like, milk chocolate and mix in pretzels or something. Yummm

Hi Laura! I love your recipes, and recently did a take on your Peppermint Bark with candy available in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Please note link back to your video! Thanks for sharing your lovely recipes!
if i ever get the opportunity to travel to the states, i dont wanna meet paula abdul or christina aguilera or any big celebrities.. but i would love love love to meet LAURA VITALE!
I did this, but I took two candy canes, layed them down like... facing eachother so they're a heart-shape, then put the chocolate in the center and put some peppermint on top. greaaaat and cute!
you should try pretzel sticks and caramel that comes as a playdough 1st make the caramel roll and strech it so i could wrapped around the pretzel stick as a snake has to be only half way wrapped 2nd use white chocolate disk and meld them 3rd dip the caramel pretzel inside the chocolate till it covers the caramel and bon appetite
