I’m glad the writing and acting strike is over now the stars can really advertise this show . I hope they use a lot of the budget on the ares Percy fight it’s like the grand ending battle of the. Book

My biggest hope is that a lot of the important campers are established early on in season one at camp. I want to meet Beckendorf, Silena, Katie, Lee, and so many others.

@@reyuhartI don’t think that’s smart, the kid they cast for Nico would have to be really young if he were gonna play Nico and we’re not sure what his acting will be like in a couple years. If they were to do that they should cast two random kids that won’t have any further commitments to the series, but even that would be weird. I think we should just wait until the titans curse for Nico

I’m so dissapointed they didn’t have any of those campers, but maybe it’s bc they don’t want to cast someone until their character is actually important to the series. It would be fun for world building tho!

I would love to see the Stoll’s and just more of the background characters in general, I was also talking about it with my brother and I love the idea of them adding a slight hint or reference to Bianca and Nico

Percabeth is also something really importante to me, and i really hope that they first really build up their friendschip and their endless bickering and also that Annabeth wasn't really a fan of Percy at fist, and that they slowly grow closer together

yeah but in tlt, I actually thought they were good friends on the quest (if you weren’t thinking about who the obvious main love interest would be the whole time). like she reminded me of hermione, but one very big difference to me, was when they decided to go to aunty ems I think, and percy and annabeth both agreed they wanted burgers (what I mean is they both acted like normal kids and took the bait). it wasn’t just Percy being fooled and annabeth warning him not to, she actually agreed and fell for it also. hermione would’ve been like, no, harry don’t do it, setting up the “smart girl” trope. love both of those characters, but I thought annabeth was more chill, and, she was more like an actual friend after she and percy bonded in the zoo wagon. one thing I didn’t really like about percabeth though, was that in moa, annabeth was revealed to have a crush on percy like *the whole time.* which kinda ruins the slow burn part of it from annabeth not thinking much of him, to becoming good friends, and then sea of monsters happened, and then after that we see they trust each other and the falling in love seems inevitable! it just kind of eh I don’t know if other ppl thought that made it better, but to me I thought it was better to keep the friends to lovers trope.

If they do post credit scenes at the end of the last episode for each season, then here are my ideas Season 1: Something teasing Tyson. Maybe the principal talking to his staff about how there’s gonna be a program for a special needs student or something. Season 2: Luke talking to a mysterious man who calls himself the General(if u know, u know) Season 3: Camera zooms in on Zues fist(the place at CHB not the actual god) and we see an entrance open and Daedalus symbol appears over it. Season 4: Kronos/Luke giving a speech to his army and the camera pans to show just how big it really is. Season 5: If they are planning to do HOO then anything that would set up Gaea.

I think Ares didn’t actually bring them to Lotus Hotel in the books, that was only in the musical. He just organized them the Zoo Truck to Vegas, I think. That’s also the scene I’m looking forward to the most, plus the almost-Tartarus scene

yes that scene is deserved so much especially since it’s when annabeth and percy actually start being friends by bonding, and if they want to establish percabeth already then they can start with that scene

I like your ideas about a musical episode. The show The Magicians had some similar plot point(s) where they had to sing due to magic. Only one of them made sense IMO but it would be cool to see!

I think it’s rlly important they get Luke’s arc right I mean it’s really important to the series and also to annabeths arc since she has a lot of mixed feelings about him wich leads to her eventually saving the world in the fifth book.

Could the truth be Ares taking the bolt, but it's only sort of the truth because Percy hasn't figured out who the real villain is? The Ares fight could be in that maybe? Also love the musical references ❤ I also would like to see Will earlier on because it would be nice to see a little bit more of him before Solangelo. And it would be cool if they did Annabeth flashbacks with Magnus in them, but that might be something for later seasons

I love musicals but I definitely don't want a musical episode 😅😅 I don't think it fits the series, to have Apollo singing at some point? Yes, please! To have some campers singing around the campfire? It's a need!!! But no, not a musical episode 😅😅😅 I will say tho, TOA need to have a looot of singing and I'm very excited, I also need that series to be animated

i don't remember whether that's a theory or an actual thing happening in the show, but i saw some thoughts that there will be more camp half-blood scenes in the middle of the show. maybe they will be the fillers in the episodes where not that much is happening

What did you think of it? Although some characters I’d like to see weren’t there, I really enjoyed the clarisse scenes, I liked that Chris was introduced early, and I thought the Luke scenes were alright, even if he was a big exposition dumper

The thing is,the creators also made Legend Of Korra,which is very divisive quality wise,they didn't have the writers they had for ATLA.and of course George Lucas had way too much power making the Star Wars prequels much worse than when other directors and writers kept him in line for the Original. In short the creator(s) is not infallible.

I have to get this out there,,,, I had so much hope (and still do) that Uncle Rick, being the icon and now-educated ally he is, would want to add LGBTQ+ representation earlier on 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 (cos otherwise we’re STARVED for two, basically all five, seasons 😭😭), and I was thinking about what characters’ sexualities or genders you could change without it affecting the plot, and which characters are old enough to be in relationships for this rep to be clear and omg… I had the BEST IDEA - make Chris Rodriguez a GIRL, then Clarisse and Chris can still have their thing and truly nothing in the plot would change (except maybe more credence to Clarisse x Silena 😏😏)… not to mention Clarisse is VERY gay… I thought there’d be plenty of time for them to make this happen but OH NO they’ve already cast a guy to play Chris I am HEARTBROKEN 😭😭😭

I really wanted the hair colors to match just like the books though... Annabeth's blond hair are one of her main traits and in HOO she even talks about how people listen to her ideas less just because she is a natural blonde

Her being black works well to make the adaptation a little more modernized and relevant to the world right now, and I think it works well with Annabeth's overall character. I mean, African-American women are often viewed as less intelligent due to nothing other than racist stereotypes. They are often judged for their textured hair and/or protective styles, just like Annabeth is judged for her appearance/hair. People are wayyy overstating how important her hair color was in the books. The issue that Annabeth faced throughout the books was being underestimated due to her appearance, NOT being white and blond. That part of the story can still be explored if Annabeth is a black girl, for the reasons I mentioned above. To be clear, I don't have much faith in Disney to dive into the complexities of racism and social issues that have led to African Americans being seen as "lesser," but they could still touch on it at a surface level. Plus, in all of the clips we have seen of Leah (Annabeth's actress), she truly has the calculated, wise, and sometimes aloof energy of Annabeth down; her performance feels like Annabeth even if she does look like the Annabeth we grew up picturing in our heads while reading the book.

@@ghxstpixie nahh i totally get that and in HOO MOA it was clearly stated that sometimes she was overlooked merely coz she was blond though i completely agree that there could not have been a better person to portray annabeth than Leah. Also im not talking abt Annabeth only, even Percy's hair were meant to be jet black
