YESSS!!!!!! I can't even count the hours I've spent playing this game. So many things to do and still the best first person shooter of all time. I've yet to meet a game that compares to it. Everything about it feels so right and the music tends to be a bit hypnotic.
this level and the skedar ruins and chicago stealth scared the shit out of me. REASONS WHY: (Chicago) RoboCop: *Pops out of nowhere and Rages* STAY WHERE YOU ARE! (Skedar Ruins) *Skedar pops up behind you and claws at you causing seizure* RAWRRR! i remember the first time i play this mission, i had 10 years that time, i was so scared than i cant pass the first tunnel for 8 minutes and i still think than this game is the best representation of a first person shooter
Oh wow, I used to hate this level when I was younger, just because the first time one of those aliens came out of cloak, I was a room with the lights off and my brother came up and yelled/shrieked right behind me (ass)... it just made me jumpy for the rest of the level. The song was BA though; starts very spooky and myserious, and then holy crap! book it!
Great song, but are there any postings of the regular stage music without the X version tacked on at the end? I don't like when my soundtracks have a sudden massive tonal shift.
Better yet, if you kill Elvis and take his farsight and "camp their spawn". You want to from the starting point, aim to the right under the stairs and put the gun into target locator mode. After you kill some guards, it'll come to rest on a small tube with the mini-skedar. If you shoot it, one will pop up in it's place. I don't know if they infinitely spawn or not, it's been too long. It's been way too long since I've played this, so much weird stuff in it.
@JegsDude134 eh this level was alot easier then pelagic II when I played on perfect, then again, Skedars dont carry guns for most of the level so thats probably why
Try Reason 3.0 or now 4.0 latest software for creating music solely on a PC no need for a studio, it aint cheap or easy to use but once u mess bout with it u can achieve unlimeted things, i used that software for soundtracks on my films on youtube. im sure theres a way if u ask around to get hold of a cheap copy...
@papitosmusic You are crazy! It may be better when you hear it alone,outside of the game but the BETA theme could not have fitted the atmosphere of the level(and the whole game)!You have to take this in mind before judging!
@BloodSeeker117 If it took you that long to find someone to agree with you, I wouldn't consider it a victory. But this is completely off topic to the video and I don't even care about opinions usually I just thought i'd comment haha. Anyway, this theme is really cool.
lol nah try a torrent but even then its hard to get hold off. The game designers may well have used that software or similar but it is rare, they would have had money to buy Reason so it was cool for them, but for film producers like me, i got hold of a copy from my mate but it lost cotact wit him, try torrents like i said... i dunno how else but thats how this sountrack was made, defo by a program like reason... good luck with ur hunt, i still need to get reason again too...
