Your reaction was so real and I wish I could have been with you when you were reacting I agree you were connected to the MAN and that's what SRV wanted when he played his guitar.....connection. I'm a seventy year old woman who is a SRV fan We are an elite bunch of fans Different because everyone of us is connected to the most unique musician of all times I can't call him a God because he didn't like that So out of respect for him, I won't. Keep up the connection fans Do let his legacy die love you all because you love STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN

Actually Riviera Paradise was the first song. And if you want to see SRV's single greatest performance of his life watch "Life Without You" at Capitol Theater

Could've sworn he just played Lenny. Stevie could play kick-ass blues one minute and so softly and delicately the next.

I think this is mislabeled as it just seems to me an inventive and creative "Lenny" and I don't hear Rivera Paradise at all except maybe in a few phrases.

This is like hanging out in the corner of Stevie's living room while he just let's himself get lost in creativity and exploration - in reality he pretty much did do this all day every day since he was 10, hence the end result, an he is totally off in his special dimension bringing back ideas on the fly and improvising ideas as they come into existence here...I recommend doing "Lenny" from El Mocambo, really cool to see him tackle the same song from 2 totally different angles - it is an entirely different experience and he plays it with more straight up song structure and concise and sharp - but I love this too. Its a cool way to compare how he never plays the same song the same way. Always from the soul creating in the moment. He was having fun here - de-tuning his low E string, playing a lot of jazz guitar legend Wes Montgomery style thumb picking (major SRV influence and insane player who plays so fast it is like lightning and only uses his thumb to do it - how he taught himself - but Stevie swallowed up everything he could that Wes did, just like he did with dozens of other masters, to become who he did, the ultimate greatest). Highly recommend checking out Stevie and his badass older brother Jimmie live doing "Pipeline" - one of the coolest vids you'll ever see! Always love seeing your SRV vids man, thank you!

Me again, check out SRV " LIFE WITHOUT YOU " LIVE Capitol Theater, NJ. Quick story, turds the end of the song you see him looking around on the stage, then he turns to the side of the stage and mouths " lost my tooth, tooth gone." I was one of the PRIVILEGED to see him Live. Everyone was mesmerised for 2 and a half hours. LATER DUDE 👍 (jethro Tull - live Madison Square Gardens. " Thick as a Brick" 78 ish.)

This is fantastic. SRV in the zone. Two guitarists seem out of this world to me: Jimi Hendrix and SRV. They almost seem like they were transported here from another universe. Jimi was a guitar alchemist and was a giant inspiration to all rock and blues guitarists. Check out Stevie's version of Little Wing. He amps it to another level, as he did with Voodoo Child.

These are my 2 favorites from SRV my friend!! Had both of these on my labor & delivery playlist which I listened to on an MP3 player so you know I’m old!! So relaxing 🎸♥️🎼🎵 This song was written for and dedicated to Stevie's beloved wife Lenora, who was known as "Lenny." Lenora once said that she never listened to the song without crying ♥️♥️

Couldn't click fast enough when I saw this from you! 🙌👏 great reaction and he sure puts us in that zone with him doesn't he? This whole Toyko concert is 🔥💯‼️. I am not sure this track wasn't mislabeled as this is a different version of Lenny and because it is so different someone thought it morphed into Riveria Paradise. I don't hear but a few phrases that could be. I don't remember if you have reacted to Voodoo Child or not yet, but if you haven't, chose the version from this concert. It takes Voodoo Child to a whole other level. It is fun, creative, inventive, free flowing, and long! About 15 minutes but well worth it. It also demonstrates how the same song can be so different from each other depending on his mood. Incapable of playing the same way twice. If you choose not to react to it, you owe it to yourself to watch just for yourself. Trust me✌️🦋. Thanks for doing this‼️ it just made my day✌️

This is not the best look at "Riviera Paradise". To see the complete version, up close, watch it from Austin City Limits. That would make another great reaction. Also, "Couldn't Stand the Weather" from that same Austin show is terrific too. Each bandmember is highlighted. Really fun performance. Love it when you come back to Stevie!💙

Was just reminded of a frickin great song by Brandi Carlyle called The Joke. It's soul crushing, but not the typical music your audience tunes in to watch on your channel. Maybe listen to it at your leisure...❤👍🤙 As always, love your reactions.
