I will most certainly ask em. You have opened up a whole new learning field for me. My fingers are killing me and yet I can't stop playing in the DADGAD. It is the first i have tried it. this video along with the santa cruz vintage southerner video inspired me to drive a long distance to find a santa cruz guitar and play one. 2 years later of saving money and putting the guitar on layaway, i bought that SCGC OM. thanks phil!
Wonderful tune. You're a master! And this guitar sounds exquisit!!! And it looks that pure. No superfluos frills. I especially love this little headstock. I'm envious. :-I I guess this gem is beyond my budget. :-(
I wouldn't sell of my vintage Gibson J-50's or 45's to buy one, but I sure in the Hell wouldn't turn one down if I could afford one, and that's not going to happen on a fixed budget...maybe they will loan me one to play...LOL! I love open tunings, this was great and thanks for sharing. Mark

Thanks for your comments. Maybe you could e-mail CandyRat and ask them why? I do have a record deal, but it's with a label that makes CandyRat look like Sony! It does seem odd perhaps. All the best.
