I don't get how anybody can like flying these loud, open cockpit airplanes, especially with a passenger, when you're always having to look side to side of someone's head.
If you've ever flown tailwheel then you know having to look around someone is irrelevant because during taxi/takeoff/landing you can't see forward anyway, doesn't matter if it's a Cessna 180 or a J3 cub. Loud? A bonanza or light twin is loud....... Flying 65mph at 500ft on a warm evening in an open cockpit is as good as it gets, you can smell the fresh cut grass and bbq smoke, and everyone waves to the pilot in an open cockpit.
