i really enjoyed this. I miss my weekly Pilates classes but this is ideal. My back doesn't respond well to sitting and lying down and has felt quite tight< Now it feels much better. Your calm approach and lovely voice are perfect too.

that was fun! i love all the lengthening exercises especially for the back and the front that you include into your workouts. most pilates videos on youtube are leaving these parts out. the transitions didn´t work that well for me because my pilates mat is too thick. it felt uncomfortable when i tipped over. but next time i will use a yoga mat instead :) have a great day!

Thank you! Yes sometimes the more spongy pilates mats have less grip, maybe try placing your yoga mat on top of your pilates mat, still padded but better grip with yoga mat!?

Hi Katja, this was a new one for me and loved it! Many thanks! One question: whenever I am in tabletop and doing criss cross or any movement where my left leg is extended, there is a pop in my inner hip joint where the inner thigh meets the pelvis. It doesn't seem to ever cause pain but I'm wondering what causes it and if I should alter the movements on that side to prevent it from making that little popping sensation and sound? thanks for any feedback!

Hi Shan, apologies for the delay in coming back. if its a pain free popping, it usually is nothing to worry about but if it bothers you, try changing the angle of the leg slightly to avoid the pop. 🙏🏼

Hi Stacey, thank you for your feedback. From a teacher's view, I would not categorize this as a beginners class. As you can see, this can be very subjective. For me, advanced is not all about doing the most challenging movements but instead doing every single move with precision, control, awareness, paying attention to the detail... The simplest movements can be the hardest when done correctly... I'd love you to enjoy and embrace the 'simpler' moves and using the opportunity they provide to really focus on your technique. I was looking for example lessons to teach. I just started giving drop-in lessons. And this morning I taught this lesson. I heard people in the hallway afterwards saying that they thought it was such a fun lesson. And also later personally from some people that they really appreciated it. So Katja, thanks for putting this on RU-vid. I also had to practice a bit to get this lesson in my head. But this lesson was not too tough, not too many repetitions, and was delivered in a nice, calm manner. But you still feel good in your whole body, those were the reactions. So of course I have to develop my own style over time. But Katja, if I have a full body Pilates class again, I would like to do it again. Thank you very much.

Came back to this fantastic 45min class after months. Feeling totally energised at the end of it 🌟 Made me realise how much I enjoy these full 45 mins classes... When doing just one class is sufficient for the day and I don't need to search for more 😀
