Ingredients:
Pinto beans : 400 Gr
Chopped Onion : 1 Large
Tomato Paste : 2 Tbs
Potato : 1 Large
Chopped mushrooms : 250 Gr
Salt : 1 Tsp
Turmeric : 1 Tsp
Black Pepper : 1 Tsp
Chili Pepper ( optional )
Veg oil
Water
Instructions:
Soak the pinto beans in water for half a day. (Skip this step if using canned beans).
In a pot , pour the pinto beans with the water and cook for an hour.
Fry onions with 1/3 cup vegetable oil in a pot until translucent.
Add salt, pepper and turmeric along with tomato paste and stir.
Add the potatoes and mushrooms and mix well.
You can add a chili pepper to the mixture. ( optional )
Then add the prepared mixture to the beans being cooked.
cover and cook in medium flame for 30 minutes.
