Been wanting to try this and will likely put on my next order. I have smoked nightcap and mymixture79 from Peterson and liked them both. I didn’t think I liked perique when I first experienced it but the more I spend time with it the more I like it. Thanks for sharing the review. Take care!
I gave this blend a try because of our good friend Bradley out in Washington but it just isn’t for me. I’m more of the smoky-sweet-creamy type. I smoked a few bowls of it but wound up giving the rest away. This blend showed me that I don’t like perique. Thanks for the review. 👍
Great review as always! Elizabethan mixture was my first experience with Va/Pers, and I think it is a great introduction to that world. I really enjoy it.
I used to smoke about 6 years ago, but I gave it up and recently been thinking about taking it back up again. Would you say this is a good tobacco to smoke after having been on a hiatus?
I think so. It may smoke on the hot side if you arent careful but the darker red virginias smoker fairly cool and there is enough sweetness for appeal.
It is a mid tier bulk blend. I've mentioned it before but havent made a review video yet. It was one of the first English blends that I tried and loved.
Let me give you the tl;dr if you can't be bothered to listen to the spurg - imagine taking a half smoked cigar from an ashtray that's been sat there for two weeks outside in the elements, crumble it up into a pipe and smoke it - that's what this foul mixture tastes like. It's fucking almost un-smokeable.
