Love your videos...tyfs!! Just an idea..I mix my eggs and veggies and pour them on a sprayed cookie sheet..bake them till done...slide off on the counter..roll them up and cut into portions☺
Thanks Nancy!! And oh my goodness!!!! I need to try that! Thanks so much for sharing! I've baked egg casseroles but never even thought to do them like that!
Wooooooow what a bag of Veggies. Love Love Love your weekly meal prep ideas. I'm so inspired by your meal planning. So many neat ideas. I'm excited I got my new Instant Pot. I love the convenience. I also have two Air Fryers a 3qt. & 5qt that also comes in handy. I think I might try making the Pinwheels without cheese. Being Im trying to keep eye on my cholesterol. Love you Kristi. Love Tamson. 😇🖤
@@PlanningUsHealthy Kristi, sounds absolutely delicious. Roast is always great to make up and portion out leftovers to make barbecue or vegetable soup. I placed 3- 12 oz. bags frozen green beans, 1 TBSP onion powder, 2 tsp. Himalayan Salt,1 pkg. turkey kielbasa chopped up, 1/2 tsp.liquid smoke, and 2-15 oz cans of beef broth in my instant broth. I put it on normal pressure cooker for 45 minutes. I made bake potatoes on side.
The pizza roll ups look really good! What a great idea, I bet they would be good either cold or warmed up! I was thinking if maybe a wedge of laughing cow cheese would work as well, what would you do with the rest of the ricotta in the container? Thanks for the great idea, I will be trying these!
Thanks so much, Christine! I bet Laughing Cow cheese would work!! I never even thought about that! I usually either freeze the ricotta or use it in weekend eggs or something. I thought about trying to come up with a recipe for low-point stuffed shells too!! 😋😋
Thanks Judy!! No, unfortunately we are still working. We are having our staff work split shifts - half work Monday through Wednesday, half work Thursday and Friday, then they swap the next week, but us managers have to be here Monday through Friday, 8-5.
Hi Alicia! I got those at the Dollar Tree! They come like ten in a package. For the real small ones with the screw-on tops that I used for the Ranch topping, those are old spare containers from years ago when I tried out the meal delivery services.
As always your meal prep is fantastic pinwheel for lunch great ideal I have everything but the cheese I going to the store today I getting to make them ty for all the time you take to do these
YES Deana!! The funny thing is, when I make strombolis or homemade pizzas, I always sprinkle oregano and basil on it! I don't know why it never occurred to me to do that with these! I'm going to try to pin your comment so others see it! :)
I just put it all in the fridge. On Monday morning I take all my breakfasts and lunches to work and put them in my work fridge. For the dinners, the meat is still semi-frozen and I only do three nights' worth. If I were to prep out more than the three days, I would keep the meat frozen. :) Thanks so much!
Tried your apple and powder peanut butter. Love it! I'm addicted. I never use the whole pkg, so it's basically free, but put 1 pt at the end of the day (cause I eat lots of apples). Will try the pork recipe. I'm going to try the pinwheels, but not this week, I don't have the turkey peperoni.
Aren't those apples so good??? That is Kari's creation at Kari's Pryceless WW Journey. When I saw that on her video, I knew I had to try it and I'm hooked!! It solves all my cravings at night - crunchy, sweet, everything. Sooo good! You could make the pizza pinwheels with any meat actually. Do you have chicken breast? You could grill or pan-sear some chicken breast and cut it up on there too!
Love this! The pizza pinwheels sound yummy, I may have to try that for lunch today! Our work days are odd, we are home today, but in the car (probably) tomorrow all day. We have SO much fun 😂😂😂. I feel like I’m doing better this week, we shall see! Hope all is going well with you! Hugs!
Oh, YES, these would be a great lunch for the car for sure!! I love that yall can travel together to work like that! I feel like I'm having a great week too!! Let's hope the scale agrees this week! Hugs to you, my friend! 💕
It does!! The lid on these is a little bit lifted, I guess you could say. So, it fits perfectly over it! Let me see if I can find the link to them on Walmart for you. I'll come back and post it here if I can find it.
I just checked and it looks like they only have the two-compartment or three-compartment. The name of them is Mainstays Meal Prep Food Storage Containers, Rectangle, 5 Count. They are only $2.98 for a 5-pack. These are the really cheap ones that I use for bento-type things. I'm not sure if they are the BPA free ones. I'm wondering if the store carries them but they're just not listed online. Here's the two-compartment ones in case you want an idea: www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Two-Sections-Meal-Prep-Food-Storage-Containers-5-Count/866989717
I have never seen such a big bag of veggies, made me laugh. Just shows you I'm not a big veggie fan, unfortunately. The pizza rolls look delicious, I will try those soon.
LOL!! It actually has five smaller steamable bags in it. Luckily we LOVE veggies! I hope you love the pizza rolls. We thought they were soooo good! But then again, anything dipped in that pasta sauce is amazing. LOL
I actually love how you do this I already brought the containers in the idea of starting it my containers or just single they are not got the three compartments in them I will have to see if I can find a good price on those I got a really good price on just the single ones 25 for seven dollars can’t beat that so I sit down on Sunday and I scrambled up 18 count of eggs I can’t spam yes I know I shouldn’t be using spam but it’s all I had so I want to use it up because I’m trying to clean up my cupboard and I took made some scrambled eggs and put the spam with it and then with the rest of the eggs I just had some bread that I needed to use up so I just made French toast until it was all gone so now it’s all sitting in my fridge raider my grandkids love the idea they can just grab a container of pop in the microwave for 60 seconds and they got a hot breakfast easy Peezy and surprisingly two slices of French toast actually filled you up because I eat it slowly and I’m not hungry until lunchtime and last night I wanted to clean out my cupboard and I didn’t need to put the sausage in it but I did anyway and in my crockpot I added some smoke sausage cut up a cup of chicken broth a bag of the frozen medley actually use two bags salt pepper garlic powder onion powder parsley and then and then I added one can of roasted red tomatoesCooked it for four hours then I remembered I forgot the corn so I drain the corn and tossed it in and then to make even things worse I added a can of mushrooms but actually it came out tasting really really good my granddaughter doesn’t like sausage so she just took the sausage out of it and ate it like a vegetable soup and said it was the best thing she ever had and she wants me to make more and my other granddaughter she loves the sausage so she’s like she’ll take her sausage in her sausage too so it kind of worked out and it actually taste really good I was very surprised and then I topped it with a little bit of Parmesan cheese that I had left over
You have been busy!!! Good for you!! Doesn't it just take so much of the stress away for the week?? And here is my answer to you on the Spam. I am NOT going to tell you what you should and shouldn't eat and what's good for you. If you have Spam, and you like Spam, and you can fit it into your points, and it works for your way of eating at this time, then eat the Spam! This is a personal journey for everyone. I am not the cleanest eater and I know that, and I never will be. But I do feel that compared to the way my husband and I WERE eating, we are getting healthy, so it's all still part of me "planning us healthy" :) Keep up the great job! I love hearing the motivation in your comment! And when kids approve, that's awesome!! :)
