This has to be a subtle one on my part. i am aware if being passive agresive. (I think i might, and have had that mentioned to me) open rebelion was not a percieved option for me. I think there is a generally positive and constructively complimentary manner in which discussions can be held. they do not always have to be a countering of the others opinion in order for one person to be seen as being right or the winner. Possibly it’s just me that perceives a lot of my conversations as having that subtle flavour of clashing . Of displaying and measuring up dominance. What you said about women being made aware of their effect on men at a young age is why for most of history, in most cultures, men and women were socially segregated from around the time they hit puberty (even earlier in some cultures) until it was time for courtship and marriage when they'd be allowed to ineract with each other in a highly managed and controlled setting. Girls had the opportunity to mature without the side effects of the "male gaze" warping their perception of themselves and men. This is another one of those things ancestors knew intuitively that we seemed to have forgotten and and are just figuring out again

Ostracized from the group is their specialty, I used to be a male cosplayer and when they don't like you they make sure to talk to everyone about you to "poison the well" and make it impossible for you to get anywhere in the community or at the conventions where they have the most influence- particularly on other men who are easily fooled by their gossiping.

Keep in mind that the attention they get declines with age. VVomen over 40 and single moms are the equivalent of a broke man with no job living in his parent's basement.

isn't it better to find a woman who will love me even without success? I mean isn't it stressful when you know the woman loves me because of my success. That means if I lose the success, then the woman has no more reason to love me. When I met my wife I had a shitty car and was unemployed. Then I got a skin disease. She didn't care about anything and stood by me. I thought that was such a proof of love that I married her. If I were single and successful I wouldn't trust any woman. I think I would see them more as friends and have fun, but not fall in love.

It's really depressing to think about all of this. Women can get almost any guy they want, they can get attention and money easily for their bodies, they are given all of these advantages in life men aren't given while men are lonely, taken advantage of, unseen, demonized, divorce court. While women have these advantages though most of them are unhappy themselves because this modern way of life provides nothing of value to either men or women. They don't appreciate and capitalize on their advantage a lot of the time. There's many other problems besides dating and gender politics but not being able to connect with anyone anymore, have box, have genuine romance or friendships with women as a man definitely makes it harder to keep going. It's unbelievably hard for a man to make a living, to have success with women, to have any semblance of the lives that men of previous generations had. It's utterly depressing.

Sadly men, much like many women, look at the hottest men and women, and when those hot men and women act like spoiled assholes, the people then say, "men are pigs" or "women are thots". If you stop turning you focus so much to 9-10s in looks, you' find a lot more 9-10 personalities in 5-10 bodies. If all you can see are trashy women, you might ask yourself where you're looking. Alexander actually covers it well in his video, Invisible Men - Interviewing University Girls, but switch invisible men with invisible women.

I really like your podcasts with your friend (Matt). Good conversations always that make sense and point of views! It's an interesting phenoneom how the world has changed due to Internet and easy access and how the culture has changed due to awarness, probably not for the better always

And this is what I found the worst way to punish a woman: gossip. Like If you go into her social circle and she indeed did ghost and tell everybody she did that. And then everybody she knows talks about her and that. From my experience she will displace mountains to try to undo this. Yeah reputation is everything for women I agree.

You nailed it when you said a woman's femininity is the prize for men and a males masculinity is the prize for women. I feel like this is how my wife and I see each other. We balance each other out. My strengths are her weaknesses and vice versa. When we hold each other, the affect is immediately noticeable. We have a calming effect on each other. You can hear it in our breathing. The breaths becime deeper and slower andwe eventually start breathing in sync. For her, she feels safe in my embrace. For me, she just brings peace. We calm each other.

That rant Alexander was fantastic! That was absolutely awesome. I was thinking of all of the great orators of our time.

6:20 This is soooo true! Many years ago in the mid to late '70s I remember my sister (she was aged around 11 or 12 years at the time and I was around 16) coming home one afternoon in absolutely floods and floods of tears. She'd just been out for a short walk to the local shop and eventually, through all the tears and distress, my mother managed to extract from my sister that some men had approached her in the street and had said some extremely rude things to her and may possibly have even attempted to touch her. She'd been wearing very tight pants and thigh length rainbow socks which was a fashion trend of that period. It was then that I suddenly began to understand very uncomfortably indeed that young girls' experience of the social world, specifically in terms of their relationship with the opposite sex, differed in a fundamental way to that of young boys. I of course had NEVER and could NEVER have experienced anything remotely similar as a young boy in relation to adult women. I guess this is why it's always said that girls mature earlier than boys; they HAVE to because in a very clear sense, they're HAVING to deal with men on a very asymetrically challenging level. Some people argue that one of the reasons that many girls are choosing to become trans/non binary is that it's a way of absenting themselves from the discomfort of that asymetrical challenge.

One of the biggest problems these days is, unless you're famous or some kind of champion gamer, your status to a woman, while gaming all day, is useless. I'd suggest men start putting their effort into something where, when it is over, you have something of value to show for it. Like restoring a car. Or building something. Video games are killing us. I think it absolutely is as detrimental to women and men who posts this sort of content, if we can call it that, and it's not just absolute brain rot for the consumer alone. I can imagine that it does take a toll, if the person is degrading themselves to something that borders on pornography, and the stream of attention is probably an addiction that needs to keep getting fulfilled. I personally don't see how it can be truly fulfilling if what you share doesn't show some sort of talent, skill, professionalism, or just something meaningful that can positively affect others. I'm also sure that this sort of content that's supposed to be "body positive" is an absolute magnet for young people with body dysmorphia and other issues. In any case, it's good to remember that social media shows the worst trends, and that men and women who don't follow these trends tend to have their non-sexual content suppressed by algorithms, because sites profit off of perverted content. They also get overshadowed by accounts who often buy bot views and comments. RU-vid and instagram are huge culprits when it comes to this, and I'd bet tik tok is no different. They're meant to corrupt culture and make people depressed. If you can see how bad it is, you're really blessed.

If TikTok got shut down tomorrow. The meltdowns would be just as severe and widespread as they are now with the abortion drama. Maybe worse

Women get in and out all the time of them. For men it doesn't work like that. As the saying goes, a woman is born and a man is made.

My wife and and I had a discussion once about how women were ao concerned over reputation compared to men. Specifically when it came to sex. I explained it to her like this: Women don't typically want to be known as promiscuous or having details of their sexual experiences talked about because they are worried it will negatively affect the men that will be attracted to them. Most men are perfectly fine with their partners sharing intimate details, especially if its about positive things (ex: her talking about how he gave her such an intense orgasm). The reason, is that if that relationship doesn't work out, his reputation as a lover has just gotten out to several potential women... and depending on how much they gossip, sooner or later, that reputation gets beyond his partner's immediate friend circle and he's got options if their relationship doesn't work out. Now, that above part about men, I framed it as "those women now wish they had what the woman with the good lover has"

Being a high-value man isn't all that difficult really! Put some work into it and most guys are there almost. But, it won't help you find dates on Tinder or other any other apps and also more importantly; it won't make any self-entitled women become high-value....so good luck out there!

Saying one person is "the prize" is flawed because it implies the other person isn't valuable. Both should value and appreciate each other, but it's impossible for two people to care for each other the exact same amount, so both need to be satisfied with that reality. Psychacks calls them the adorer and the adored, which sounds a lot better than prize and... consolation prize?

Fully agree with Matt on the "prize" thing. You don't want to be with someone who pedestalizes him/herself, and treats you as though their highness was oh so gracious as to _settle_ for you mere mortal. This attitude will only make you resentful in the end, undermining your confidence and self-esteem. But at the same time, if you are working on being high-quality, why would you _want_ to settle for someone you feel isn't at your level? This "YOU must be the prize, honey" mentality comes from insecure people who are subconsciously seeking a co-dependent relationship where _they_ would be the ones in control. Whereas two equally high-quality, emotionally-independent people can build a healthy relationship where both will feel truly respected, appreciated and fulfilled.

I’m a guy, and my social bonds and interactions are really important to me as well 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s all about feedback with women. You can’t apply any philosophy as a rule except that if you get negative feedback you need to disengage or change your behavior. I used to believe that being aloof or insulting or being “confident” were attractive. Really it’s all kind of a crap shoot. Neediness is a turn off to both men and women but other than that there’s no due north to guide you. Playing by sight instead of by ear will always yield . Bad results.

Hey Alexander, i dont know if you'll respond to this. But im in a weird situation. Men get attention if people like what the man does and what he has to say. Women get attention if they are sexually appealing. We are not the same.

Maybe "Likes" are to attention, what money is to wealth. With money, instead of goods, livestock, land, etc. you have a marker that represents the the potential of those things; a kind of abstract wealth. That abstraction probably enables some dysfunction and in one's attitude toward wealth. On social media, you don't have the desirable person smiling at you and showing you real favor, you have a marker that you trust means that. At best you have a written sonnet from a stranger. I wonder if the dysfunctional attitudes from abstracted wealth and attention are similar.

I hunt and deliver the meat. I look upon my partner with love and affection. it is a wonderful life for a while. only years pass and what was love becomes scorn and contempt. I've lived this several times over to consider it inevitable. the premise of this vid seems to be that I just didn't do it well enough.
