I thought the Zoia was kind of the only thing like this out there but in the last few days I’ve come across this and a few other sort of desktop ‘multi effect on steroids’ kind of things. What a crazy time to be a musician!
Yes! Actually the 5th Up delay is a good example because there is no straight up pitch delay effect or a preset for it on Digit but I was able to create it simply by putting a delay in parallel and placing a pitch shifter in front of it. Lots more can be done.
Quick question, can you run an ir, graphic EQ, Reverb, delay and modulation at the same time? Also when it comes to presets / scenes is it easy to switch from one to the next as is, or would you suggest midi?
Yes it is possible to run all those at the same time. I'd suggest using MIDI to switch presets but keep in mind that the preset changes are not immediate (it takes a couple of seconds to load the preset, at least with the firmware I have now. It might have been updated.)
@@DoNoise thank you for letting me know. I don't think a delay of a couple seconds will be much of an issue, it would be when switching songs more than anything.
Am I correct in assuming that you can run several instruments into this at once, with unique signal paths and then combine them to a mixed stereo output? (Sorry if this is blindingly obvious, just want to make sure). Thanks for the excellent demo.
Digit has most (or all?) of the ingredients to create different types of delay sounds found in those pedals. There aren’t stock delay modes like analog delay, tape delay, ping pong delay etc. but you have the required modules to create all of them.
I dont know man but this just feels like a tablet/ipad to me. Just buy an ipad and install a nice app like eventide fx, or other modular apps there. I'll go with Zoia instead
Liezel Villareal I get you but I do have an iPad with lots of music apps and I don’t use them the way I use Digit or ZOIA or any other pedal. They work and sound great but feel like different things.
