A notorious favourite level crossing of mine on the busy pedestrianised high street in Poole Town Centre near the Station in Dorset. It has two full-length barriers along with four LED wigwags, which is quite interesting considering this crossing is only ever used by pedestrians, although there are LED pedestrian lights here too. There are also two fairly loud yodalarms here, one of which sounds considerably different than what it sounded like when I was here on a previous occasion earlier in this year. The alarm does sound kind of faulty now too.
In this video, we go close to the barriers to witness a class 444 on an empty coaching stock (ECS) run from Bournemouth, which is heading into the station on the Bournemouth-bound line, showing that these lines are bi-directional.
Thanks for watching!
