If you like friend groups that hate each other as much as they hate themselves and knee-slappin who dunnits that'll leave your jaw on the floor, then you'll love this full movie reaction to Bodies Bodies Bodies!
It's clever how their harsh words towards each other had such accuracy and irony. David is a narcissist, Sophie is toxic, Alice is vapid, and Jordan is unlikable. The ending fits so well with how quick it is to not trust anyone.
@@dlweiss And also ironic how even Bee lies about her entire life just so a girl will like her. It really shows how everyone is obsessed with how they are perceived by others, no matter your circumstances
I love how this is satirical yet it’s accurate. Alice was the best in this. “Did you just fucking shoot me?!” “I can’t believe you’re making this about you!”
yeah, alice stole the show for sure. the movie was incredible. the suspense and comedy, the build-ups, the hidden clues that help the characters a little more to knowing the mansion like the doggy door. keeps me hooked even though i would've probably slept in the theater.
Not Alanda calling out the killer before anyone is even dead. But I gotta say that for all Sophie keeps saying "I love you," Bee killed to protect her twice and Sophie couldn't even stick up for her when Alice kicked her out.
I love how Alice's character kept switching sides because that was honestly me watching this movie. With every new piece of "information" I was happily switching between who I thought the killer was without a second thought lmao. Rachel Sennott (aka Alice) stole the show imo. Between her comedic performance in this and her dramatic performance in Shiva Baby, mark my words, in five years or so she's gonna be a huge star.
The first Gen Z horror movie...no killers just victims...I thought it was hilarious, saw it when it came out and LOVED it I couldn't stop laughing and I love the ending 🤣
@@AlandaParker YES! “Everybody hates you!” And her flip flopping everytime more stuff came out! Like she literally had just put poor little Zucchini out in the hurricane and as soon as she came back in with evidence she flopped right back on her side like girl! 🤣Lol! I needed more of Alice.
Bee is the only one that’s not a toxic liar. She’s the main character & the one who we’re viewing everything through. She’s so sweet & loyal to Sophie, to a fault
Alice is one of my favorite movie characters of all time now. She is everything! And this was one of the best theater experiences I have ever had. Saw it in a pretty crowded theater opening weekend, and everyone was so into it! One of my favorites of the year for sure.
This film was incredible. My face was stuck in horror and disbelief nearly the entire time. The way that those people descended into paranoia and hysteria so quickly was insane. That's actually what makes this story kind of scary, because imagine being in a situation like that. One tragic thing resulted in everyone involved falling into madness, and then killing each other and/or themselves in a matter of a few hours. I hope that a sequel is made to detail what led up to that day to show the "friendship" dynamic between these people and the aftermath and fallout once the families and public find out that all of these rich and seemingly known people died in that mansion. Also, I want to see how Sophie and B handle each other after everything, since their relationship was already on the decline by daybreak.
Bro when Alice died, my mom looked at me and said “are you okay?” The whole time I was talking abt how she is my favorite character and I was ready to throw hands with Jordyn
This whole movie was reminiscent of the famous Tower section of Battle Royale. Two totally different movies with different vibes, but paranoia leads young girls to violent chaos in both.
Coincidentally watched this over the weekend before I knew it was on your docket, SO good. I feel like a lot of tv shows and movies have tried to aim for or critique Gen Z, but this is the first that I think really nails it for how they talk and act. Scathing critique but also really understands them and doesn’t hold them to that much contempt. Hilarious movie, Rachel Sennott as Alice was a star-making performance. And also really impressive from a cinematography standpoint. If you’re looking for more laughs with your thrills this spooky season, I recommend Happy Death Day and Malignant!
The movie gives you enough and less information on the characters when things get really desperate. Bee is interesting because she fits into the typical final girl; grounded, sensible, innocent. But out of everyone, *she* is the one with the actual body count. And there are some times where her demeanor is unnerving. I believe her backstory, but her "hit first, ask questions later" approach doesn't do her any favors making her just as untrustworthy as everyone else lol. Pretty smart movie.
its def unwarranted but i can't really blame her for not thinking straight once he went for the knife. shes the most sober but she still wasn't sober enough to think it through any more
I haven't even made it to the reaction part yet, but I feel the NEED to tell you how gorgeous and comforting you are to me. I see your face and literally ALL my worries and stresses of the day just melt away. I'm so glad I discovered your channel! Your energy and beauty send me to a place of security unbeknownst to me.
Honestly love this movie, it's like a horror where most of the cast is that one character in slasher films that you know is not long for this world. It's like this ticking time bomb that's getting bigger and bigger with each passing moment. Until finally it explodes right there when the girls are all fighting. In the end I just find myself feeling so sorry for Greg, and then when that reveal came up towards the end with Pete Davidson...I was in complete shock. Solid 9.5 out of 10 for me, also A+ reaction as always ^^
This movie was a riot. So much fun. Glad you enjoyed it. If anyone else from The Netherlands reads this, give some love to Halina Reijn! She did such a great job and still doesn't get the support she deserves from her fellow Dutchies.
I love that the characters never laugh at the situation and play it serious so to me thats great satire, cuz theres some tense and thrilling moments in this movie underneath the comedy
me: finishing the movie and knowing the plot twists also me: binge-watches the movie 20 times to see who would've been alternative ghostface killers (i bet jordan and sophie)
I remember seeing the trailer for this movie thinking my 40 year old self would despise this movie but I ended up thinking it was a riot and a lot of fun. Very clever twist at the end too. Haha.
I absolutely loved seeing this film in the theatres recently, I quote it all the time now! with this and do revenge coming out, i feel like the dark humoured films revolving young people are having a renaissance
I agree that the movie's message was probably on the nose, but sometimes a movie has to be extreme to land with its audience. I loved every minute of this, Alice is a Gem.
i mean emma kissed her jordan is her ex alice doesn't have anything confirmed but amandla (sophie) made a song for this movie where she sings about hooking up w alice so like PERHAPSSS???
I’m pretty sure this group of friends would’ve imploded in some way, regardless of these events. They all have too many of the same narcissistic traits to be in a friend group together. They exhausted my life in an hour and change….imagine for years FOH. I loved the movie tho. Alice is my girl!
I thought it was Sophie almost the entire movie because she was acting really sus but about 20 minutes before the reveal the thought that he could’ve committed suicide/killed himself by accident hit me like a lightning bolt
We just watched this tonight and had the same reaction! So stupid fun, but it made us laugh! Alice was a freakin' riot. A great commentary on social media, etc.
OMG! Movies like this make me nervous(who's the killer)& didn't seem that great. But the ending got me. I was like, "WHAT?!". Stupidity led to all the paranoia & murder...I like it. I just watched w/u. Never saw it before. I❤️ movie our dates!
Girl! I woke up and was trying to go back to sleep so I thought I'd watch a couple of videos and pop a couple melatonin and you posted! 😜 I love zucchini bread.
when i tell you i got the notification in 20 seconds. yeah all of these 2022 psychological horror/thriller movies are insane. bodies bodies bodies took me by surprise like the rest of them. i was excited to heard the news that you were gonna make a video about it. i can't wait for your reaction to this. i laughed so hard.
For the season of horror, I'd love to see As Above, So Below! It's a very underrated horror movie that doesn't get nearly as much appreciation online as it deserves. As for Bodies Bodies Bodies, I'm so happy to see people enjoyed it as much as I did, I'm probably gonna add it to my collection ASAP
I know everyone thinks its social media but I lived most of my life before the internet and all that toxic shit and behavior is down to low self esteem and fear of abandonment. When people are shitty to each other its always fear and usually fear that they will be pushed out of the social circle. For some of us our internal life couldn't really get going until we could communicate by writing. All the support groups for people suffering from anything they suffer is worth all of the pain we go thru still working out how to use social media without becoming recluses. btw I'm a recluse but I'm sick so I have an excuse. :-)
I knew you'd have the best reaction to this movie! I'm so excited for this spooky season and what you have in store for us. Would love to see your reactions to The Strangers (both of them), Orphan, and Would You Rather :)
That ending is absolutely brilliant and just shows what a mess this generation is. I hope people actually take a moment to understand the toxicity of how social media can spiral downward and quickly.
I actually liked her not saying I love you and her being okay with it. A lot of times in relationships you feel pressured to say it or the relationship could end.
if you want another story about a group of people being killed off one by one and cut off from the outside world there's the 2015 miniseries 'And Then There Were None' (there've been a few adaptations of the book but that one is the best).
What Lies Beneath. 6:56-7:05 THIS 22:04 It's crazy that she killed him. Zucchini bread killed TWO people. That is not the type of proactive we're looking for. You can't kill Lee Pace. Made the story better, but he should've lived. 23:02 Lol 30:58 Staying focused. Alice was the best! The gun sequences were so stressful to watch in the theater. 38:23-39:12 PREACH!
I always love seeing your videos and Zzavid. I also wanted to say your hair is on fleek all the time girl. It makes me want to rock my hair natural more often .
azalea banks with the machete omfggggg 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm currently ill and haven't laughed or smiled in days now, so thank you for putting a bit of joy into my life with that one 🤣💜👏
