Magnus keeps asking him questions. Then cutting him off . Even before he can fully answer a question. Magnus asks a brand new question. I feel likee i would have learned a whole lot more about that beautiful 356A. If the man was allowed to finish a thought. Let the man speak. 😕
@@eagerbobNot even in the same league. Magnus seems desperate to show of his knowledge. It is actually surprising how far he got. Good for him I guess.
Magnus Interuptus! 😂 Magnus: How long have you had this car? Mark: I bought it in.... Magnus: Where did you get it? Mark: I got it..... Magnus: What do you like about it? Mark: I love that it.... Magnus: Let's make this interview about me. Very frustrating to watch because I was actually interested in what Mark had to say and to know more about the car and his history with it.
I was beginning to think I was the only one annoyed by the rapid fire questioning. A great story nonetheless. Interviewer just needs to slow down so he can answer a question.
I'm interested in the car, not Magnus..... It's nearly unwatchable as he's just thinking of his next question and doesn't even bother listening to the answer - He ruined the video
I thought it is my German point of view, that made me a little uncomfortable about Magnus not letting this interesting man answering his questions. I think Marc is really a great guy and it’s a dream come true what he does with his old 356. He drives it like it was supposed to be driven. I really would love to have a chat with mark, not with Magnus though. Greetings from Germany, Juergen
A classic Porsche story, unlike a classic Ferrari story. God forbid a Ferrari driver should EVER drive from Florida to Nova Scotia! And over thirty states!? Hahahaaa! Never! Great story! Great episode!
A 356 was always a dream car for me. Wish I could’ve picked one up when they were $8500. I scratched that itch with a 911sc, and love putting miles on it….but I still dream of adding the 356. Glad Magnus had Mark on to share his.
I bought a used 356B Cabriolet for $ 2,650.00 in 1967. Still have it in 2024 and I have just as much fun driving it now, at 81 years old as I had at age 24.
Jesus, not a single sentence was finished by the guy without being interrupted with either a premature answer being blurted out or yelling the next question.
Yep, he's irritating, you aren't allowed to criticise him, but he's getting worse. I can't even put my finger on what it is exactly that annoys me: maybe its the highly cultivated image that he portrays. He ain't real
Great car and owner and what a cool surroundings there in Florida. Mark is the man...I so admire his willingness to drive that tub so far! We all live vicariously though him.
Love my fellow 356 Porsche driver, Mark Pribanic!!! This video was wonderfully shot by Brandon Hartin in a way that truly captured the car and Mark's love of driving it. Great job Magnus! Mark is a rare jewel that Im proud to call a friend. Keep on driving!!! Also--- Mark you need to get to Michigan! Tick off another state.
@SharonShahanCobb6094, hope to see you and Michael this summer! I want you to show me some of your favorite roads in your 356! We miss you guys and Ms. P. 🏁🏁🏁
A great story about having and driving and making life experiences in a car. Thanks Magnus and Mark for sharing. This video is why I love going to car shows and asking people about their stories and their cars. I have my Mom's 81 911 Targa, she bought as a lease in 85 with 71,000 miles on it. She took grand care of the car and It now has 240,000 plus. She drove it fast and it was her daily for many many years. She took driving lessons, took it to the track several times and would take it up to 110 and 120 regularly. I am happy to have it and make new memories in it remembering her.
Magnus, or is it Gandalf, for F*cks sake, let the guy tell his story before you pre-empt and step all over his words!!! I enjoyed meeting Mark a few years back at Daytona where the back seat of the 356 was full of firewood. A true enthusiast.
The old patina-ridden 356 and the surfer dude persona go hand-in-hand. Very good camera shots as well. This video put such a joyful smile on my face! 🤓❤️😃
@@markpribanic6199 love your car & what you’re doin’ with it. i wish you many more years of enjoyment. would love to see some sort of video on those spindles when you do it. i’ll find you on instagram.
Getting ready to buy a pile of rusty panels and parts that will be combined to be my first 356... This video confirms that I'm making the right decision. What a stunning example of a driver / survivor. I can only hope to drive through 3-4 engine rebuilds.
Magnus you have inspired me to pursue the life of Porsche ownership. My lease ends next May and I am searching for a 1985-1996 911 to daily drive for the rest of my life.
That’s one sweet 58 356 Magus has nice Porsches with his collection all right Mangus keep up the good work I like what you do Porsche all the way, and there is no substitute like what they say
Good job @brandonhartin I wonder how many Porsche owners have missed out on smiles per miles, memories made, meeting new people and places because they worry about keeping the miles low on their car and afraid of gathering patina along the way? Good for you Mark, keep up the good work! 👊 See you around!
I totally agree. I love hearing stories of people that actually drive and enjoy there rides. Not afraid of road rash and high miles.I am not a fan of trailer queens that have had thousands of dollars spent on restoration and then afraid to use them.
Thanks to everyone involved with this channel. Magnus Walker I have admired you for several years. I have yet to own a Porsche but soon. I want an old 911. My son wants a 356. We are currently reconditioning my son’s 1973 Super Beetle. We have, like Mark done lots of dirty work while the pros showed us the way. By the end of Summer it should be good to go then on to some yet unidentified Porsche.
One of the great Porsche people Mark Pribanic! Thank you for taking the time to film with Magnus. Mark you are a legend, I enjoy your instagram posts, it is inspiring to me. Keep being awesome🎉
I sold my old VW camper van to a guy who restored old cars and her took me for a spin in a MGA and it was gr8 fun. Btw he was also restoring a Porsche 356 and it was painted in Tremclad rust paint but it sounded glorious when he started it up for me ❤🥇
Magnus - Thank you for sharing this very unique 356 story. Brandon - another great job filming/editing ! Mark is such a genuine person and simply wonderful to hang out with. You have a glimpse, sharing his story/history should inspire us to get out and drive our Pcars more often. Mark consistently drives about 20K miles a year in his car. So few of our 356 community experience this, at this level - true smiles per miles ! These cars were designed to use at a daily level; drive that next trip, don't fly :)
This is quite possibly the coolest Porsche ever. This OPP series is impossibly good. @magnuswalker you have a knack for asking the right questions! Hoping our paths will cross at some point :)
This is my favorite 356. I see it all over northeast fl. I’ve met Magnus briefly at Amelia but have yet to run into Mark. Hopefully I will someday just to hear more great stories about the car. So cool to see it on this series.
Really great. Need to watch this one a few times and just pick up all the little details. Would love to hear this guys stories about his road trips. He really could write a book about all those miles he put on it and the people he meet on the way. Loved the story about the repair in CA. I have seen various YT videos on the guy that fixed the car for him and what an honor it was to have him work on your car. Thank you for sharing this!
Good words good story, keep up the good work! I have a 72 Beetle, mom was original owner and I've owned it since 1987. It's a little beat up a little fixed up but not too much. I enjoy taking it out here and there.
I always dreamed of a 356 of some variety. My entire life. I should have bought one when I had the chance. Hopefully one day. Until then Ill have to do with all the models I have on my desk. Love the patina on this car, suggests so much life, history and character. Makes me sigh...
@@markpribanic6199 Cheers Mark! Very special car, even on video, she seems like she is living and breathing! Great color, and don’t clean up that paint work anytime soon!
Such a cool little Porsche, gets the shit driven out of it! Probably makes some people crazy, I'd do the same thing... I had a bus, and traveled with a long block under the back seat, just in case. They were cheap, and swapping the tin, and engine was quick. Funny how much they go for now. Love the podcast. PS the cars stance is great!
Feel und dank for all you bring to gearheads ununited or knighted Your style is wizard like and you are ! Your content is real experance free style. Thank you for sharing these joys. Bmw jag Bohemian guy E61 , 67 420 jag 67 shadow 71 GT6 Pelican parts are on board my e61 bla bla nah
Magnus ---- great story about a special car with its own great story. Was it Your idea or Mito's idea to cut this episode with the relaxed feel that You describe driving that cool car through the relaxed Southern country? If it wasn't intentional, it sure worked out that way.
