100%. I've just rediscovered this video having not watched it for donkey's years. As a 12 yr old who was obsessed with the 3.8 RS, this was my absolute favorite car video on the internet. 9 yrs later I still think the 3.8 is the cat's pajamas and I still think this vid is better than any other car content I see nowadays.
It's funny when people say he's driving dangerously, but he is more in control and safer than a 30 year old mum talking on her phone with whilst putting her makeup on
francois is such a special person:the character of a mad dog, the heart of a lion, and the eyes of a ten years old kid. and a TRUE rally enthousiast,i mean he still loves rallying from the bottom of his heart. and Chris,who knows his shit in rallying,knew exactly what he was doing when filming that.

Amin El So because I'm not a 'particular' fan of the 911, that means I'm not a proper petrolhead? Having owned 26+ motorbikes..mostly Superbikes, and currently on my 6th TVR a 420 SEAC...I'm still not a petrolhead?? Even my Focus ST has been remapped to 280bhp! Sorry, but I don't go in for that crap. It's the same as saying if you've never owned an Alfa you are not a true petrolhead either! It's total bullshit!! Anyway, my original statement says 'normally' I'm not a fan.. but I do like rather a lot the GT2 & GT3 Porsche's! Years ago I almost bought a classic 930 Turbo.. now I wish I had seeing how their values have now sky rocketed!!

I drive GT3 on the track quite often but to see such a passionate driver like FD having so much fun, just confirms how good this car is and how cool is rally driving. Also, it's good to see a rally star behaving like a normal kid with a good toy. Well done EVO
What an excellent video! It's great to see the heros of yesteryear still showing us young guns how to drive a car. Francois' enthusiasm is infectious and you can see he enjoys everything about cars. Well done!

I keep on watching it over and over again... one of my all time favourites together with the vid of Walter Rohrl in GT3 on Nurburgring and Ari Vatanen climbing Pikes Peak in group B Peugeot 405... pure pleasure to watch. amazing cars, and what is more impressive - driving skills. going flat-out, what seems to be on the edge with full control over the car and unbelievable confidence. he is focused and confident of his skills but so humble at the same time.

EVO is just amazing. you are one of the few to realize how the good car vid should look like: good sound recording and great driving skills. top it up with interesting personality, and you have exceptional video material. so easy and so difficult at the same time, as not that many people seem to realize that.

whats so amazing is his face during his test drive in that Porsche. He is so focused! Even crazier then that is he said he was going "SLOW"! AWESOME. I can only wish I was the one in that car with him.
If you are a petrol head, Delecour has to be a hero to you, I remember him back in WRC, his passion for rallying & entertaining people deserves respect.
It would be wonderful if Porsche, Ferrari, Audi returned to rally racing. Unfortunately the WRC rules would make it difficult with the 300 HP restrictions. Great Video EVO. Thank you.

This video is awesome! The reactions are funny lol. Car sounds awesome and goes like mad. Now that is what I need to be doing on a sunday...cruize and then drive like mad.
To make sure they don't get in trouble with the police :) A GT3 on the limit would have been well into 3 figures in places! Absolutely awesome video, what a driver and what a car!
