Beautifully restored, I love it, it has a lovely Scandinavian feel. Not sure I'd be able to manage stairs to bathroom in the middle of the night tho 🙂

A tiny place certainly but they've absolutely done it all right! Nice to see that they thought about damp and drainage. For a young couple or single person this wonderful little home would fit the bill. Nicely presented amigo!

River beaches are where they dam up the river to create swimming areas usually with cafes and bars, it's really incredible. Google Fragas de Sao Simao 😍

@@destino2portugal Have you put together a buyer's guide to help people maneuver through all these youtube channels that don't talk about how difficult or impossible it is to get a habitat license on a other use or warehouse "farm or ruin" A simple pdf file for 2.99 / 4.99 on Gumroad could help thousands of people from getting tricked like those people did to you and your wife. Plus tips on making the move less stressful. 🤔👍😉

Rent a barn here for the bikes, easily done! Did you know my friend there's a road here famous for motorcyclists, its the N2 and goes unbroken from the very top to the very bottom of Portugal! If you do it then it passes my Manor so you'll have to stop for a coffee 😀

Sem guarda corpos no quarto, é muito perigoso, uma criança pode vir parar ao 1 ° andar e morrer, eu não comprava essa casa porque não cumpre a Lei na questão de segurança, e a escada para o quarto do Sótão também não está conforme a lei, tem de ter guarda corpos na escada e a escada para estar legal a pessoa tem de conseguir subir e descer as escadas na posição de coluna direita e tem de ter corrimão

The owners wanted to put in a rail but realised they wouldn't be able to get their mattress out and the new owners mattress in. They said they would try and work out how to get around this but were still thinking about it. He did mention some sort of rope hand rail. Are there building regulations on stairs in Portugal? I've not heard of this.

Figueira da Foz is only an hour. 🏖️ 🌊 And, the small town Figueiro dos Vinhos is only 15min. Farmers market, shops, grocery store, cafes, concerts, and an Art museum. 🥰

Not much crime, Portugal is the safest country in Europe. The only gangs you have to worry about are gangs of Javali (wild boar).

Мне сложно представить себе человека который это купит. На мой взгляд, это бесполезно потраченные деньги на ремонт. Может быть это был малобюджетный проект студентов местного строительного училища. Потратили грант. Получили зачет и диплом. Можно сносить. Французский дренаж выглядит не так .Это , скорее всего , слив грязной воды из душевой кабины.

No, it's a French drain. The work was completed by a construction firm. Thanks for your comment though 👍
