Moving through this flow, I realized how much I grip onto the anger from childhood trauma. I get told to release it and I tell myself to release it, but I grip and grip and all the gripping causes more stiffness and pain. I love this flow, and so many of your flows and how you constantly remind us of our breath, because in the breathing, I feel that grip lessen and lessen. Letting go is a daily practice and so are the principles of yoga! So thank you for helping us all move along our spiritual paths guiding us to feel more grounded within ourselves and in turn guiding us to feel more grounded and trusting of our own higher powers and the universe. Michelle, at the end of this practice, I'm left with what you said about letting go and feel moved to share. You said something like, "It's not the thing so much you're trying to get rid of but your grip on it." I find that to be such a peaceful reminder. When I've practiced not making my feelings a problem and just letting it hang out there as they are, it always creates so much space and peace. Your letting go practice is a beautiful reminder of that simplicity.

Wow! That was exactly what I needed today. You might want to bring this one up to the top as its relevant to our current COVID-19 life. It was great to start, be reminded frequently throughout, and again at the end, of letting go, giving room to allow for something different, likely better, to come forward. What was powerful about it was being able to move through the letting go, being physical in the letting go. Thank you Michelle for your practice, your generosity and for your excellent teaching.

Michelle, you have become my daily companion. Discovered you on youtube in the early stages of the lockdown. Am in my fourth year now of practicing yoga. Up until I began doing your videos daily about two months ago, my yoga practice admittedly was largely for the physical benefits, i.e. better posture, leaner muscles, more flexibility etc etc. And while that is still important to me, I realised about a month ago that I actually look forward to my practice now. Vs before I sometimes had to force myself to get on the mat, would view it as a 'workout' I had to get done, I now look forward to it. My mind is calmer during and especially after, I feel different in my body after the daily practice and it's becoming much more a mind than a purely physical practice. And for that I thank you. Today I actually did two of your practices, my 'saved list' on youtube has about 20 of your videos on it now and I could not be happier. Thank you!!

This was really different and challenging I enjoyed the breathing it made a difference to a difficult day. Please can you do more with breathing techniques and holding the positions for longer. Namaste🙏
Thanks Michelle! This video was helpful in allowing me to let go of the fact that my career does not define me. I recently quit my decent 9-5 to become a nanny and spend more time with my daughter before she starts school. Although, I know this is something I know I will cherish for the rest of my life, I sometimes panic about what will I do next. Will I ever find a job filled with purpose and passion? Today, I'm letting go of the uncertainty and allowing myself to embrace it. Again, thank you Michelle for sharing your gift. :)
