Welcome to Real Server Training: Real Tips for Restaurant Servers.
In this video, we're not really teaching anything, it's just a Rant on Pre-busing and part of our Restaurant Service Training Video Series.
THIS is how you move people along as a restaurant server.
I never rush a table, never. But I do want them to move on. This is how I generate volume. The sooner I turn this table, the sooner I can get another in. The more times a table turns, the more sales are made.
If I don't pre-bus, guests have a tendency to hang out forever. And honestly, and this is the truth:
I don't want my guests to sit in filth. It's really for everyone's benefit that we get the plates off the table.
