I promise myself every single year that I'm not going to do too much in the garden, and every year its a lie, lol. But in the end, I'm glad I always go a little bit further than I should, because I've learned something new, or tried something new, every time.
Can't beat the heat of a wood stove, though it'd be nice to have propane too!! Awesome haul of garlic and all the other good seeds!! Looking forward to your 2024 garden and the live-streams to come!! *Have a good'nnn*
Yeah, not having to get up in the middle of the night to reload the stove would be really nice. To have the propane kick on in the middle of the night when the temp starts to drop would be sweet.
Yeah, it's been a while since I have done a video! Ugh! 😩 Winter is just rough for me and I have been working a TON! But I'm getting back to it this week! New videos getting outlined right now! I've got a long list! 😁
Those hot peppers are probably some that I am trading away 😂 Going to bring those extra chicks to Rick from Welcome to my Cape Cod Life's grandson this weekend so that's probably where they are going! 😂
FYI- the firecracker peppers are great for making hot sauce and spicing up pickles. The lemon drop peppers are pretty spicy but also really tasty. If you are planning on doing farmer's markets or selling produce peppers ship well. I did quite well one year growing a selection of superhots and other hot peppers and selling them via instagram. The sales of my superhots paid for my seeds and gas for picking up compost for the year of gardening.
Hey girl, hey 👋 👋 just checking in with you. It's been a minute. As always, you are very inspiring. I am soooo ready for spring!!! I'm in the same boat of in between moving and working on house. I hope to have something growing this season. Thanks for sharing your updates. 😊 You have all kinds of fun seeds!!! ~Sammie
Good to see you, it's been awhile. I love seed hauls, and you got a really nice mix. I'll have to check out MI Gardener's seeds. I always say I'm not going to go crazy planting to many seeds every year, but I never listen to myself. 😂🤣
No flowers this year. :( She is definitely in much too small a pot! She's gone dormant for the winter now, but in spring I'll transplant to a larger container, something more shallow, but much wider. Then when it gets up and growing again the roots can really spread and I will hopefully finally get some blooms!
