Yes, I would like to know why you lowered the water level. Was it just so that you could move small fish into the rice paddies? Will that help with maybe adding a natural fertilizer? Like the others mentioned, on your official site there are only 3 posts. May 4 Primitive Skills May 5 Making Primitive Crossbow June 4 Primitive Hut I really like watching your videos. Most things are obvious why you do them, but others are not as clear to some of us and would really like to know why you do some of the things you do. Wishing you the best.

Mike Miller remember though he is making a lot of content, guys like primitive technology, who I love to watch, only produce once a month if your lucky. And I have zero care for iron ore who gives a crap, make one video and never another. This guy for the most part is providing much better content and very frequent he won’t have time to make articles etc he should take the pinned post out.

@IberianCraftsman

he could make a fish tank (just increasing the depth of the end pool were all the water ends) and that would be enough, just to give the fish more mater depth, or probably adding some rocks in the borders so its not so muddy

Small suggestion if you raise some fish again: when you drain the nursery pond out, maybe make a smaller holding "tank" with a fish trap like entrance and then use a big leafy branch to scare the fish into the fish trap tank. So it can be easier for you to grab them all.

To see ancient forms of agriculture performed in traditional ways, using and crafting traditional tools in order to be as accurate as possible, is the reason I love these videos so much! Keep it up, and I look forward to updates on your website, especially explaining your work with breeding and raising your fish and rice crops. I hope you stay inspired by the content you create, and look forward to seeing more of your projects in the future!

I would say these are more traditional than primitive skills. The tools are basic but the methods are quite refined. The way you form land would be like magic to a primitive. But I know 'primitive' is a buzzword for building old style stuffs so it is best for the search engine.

fish are transported from place to place by birds. Fish eggs are very sticky about the same strength as tape for some fish. The eggs adhere to the feathers, skin, etc. Observe any remote fish ponds far from any water and notice they contain frogs, fish, and other animals.
