She fulfilled her role as Princess, and she would have made a fantastic Queen, if she was nurtured and loved the way she wanted to be, and the way she deserved to be. Its a real loss for the monarchy, and the world at large!
Charles "Whatever love means!" what an odd thing to say just after a few days of marriage to a beautiful lady.. That buffoon was in love with a horse instead!!!
When the poor girl said, "It was odd , very odd ," I remember a conversation where she rather naively said " he wanted me to kneel like a dog while he did it without seeing my face ,it hurt me , darling is this normal ? " some of the hunting, shooting , fishing types told her it was a good way to get it over with quickly. Little teenage virgin , poor innocent child .
Seems more as if he wanted to make a child, but pretend it was someone else. Everyone had a first time, isn't that horrific to begin that a need to get it over quickly, and do it this way repeatedly, sounds like treated like an animal for breeding literally. How sickening.
Diana's story is so interesting and I've always wanted to know more about her through the eyes of the people. I was very young when she died so I don't know much that went on during her time here except through articles and comments people write. So I'm very curious....was she actually as loved and adored by the public as magazines and newspapers had made her out to be? And was she actually the most famous woman in the world at the time?
+keyboardxful yes!! i grew up in the mid eighties and she was wonderful and everyone adored her. I did especially, she was my idol because she came across so kind and giving and beautiful. Definitely the most famous woman that ever lived, interest in her was absolutely incredible, no one today matches her.
keyboardxful she’s interesting hearing about her makes me want to cry I hate the fact that people have to go through this in silence. I wasn’t even born at this point or when she sadly passed away rip to a queen🍎🚁
At least her mother -in- law didn't do what mine did on my engagement to her son , quote " Do you think he still loves ...... " unquote . She was referring to his ex girlfriend , devastating , absolutely devastating .
Clothing is not a sign of maturity. She developed a sense of style with the help of many advisors. I don't think she matured much beyond a 12 year old. Even in her 30s.
She was a baby, so young and inexperienced. Boy did her eyes get opened! She was a rare gem with those who could not appreciate her. In spite of the pain, she brought a lot of joy to others and that is why people both celebrate and mourn her to this day. Her Royal Highness, Diana Princess of Wales will forever be the Queen of Hearts. 👑❤️👑
It is 16 years today that we learned of the events in Paris. There is a short video on RU-vid called Diana at VJ day and watching her and Charles in 1995 with their sons sitting between them it struck me just how sad it is for our country and the Commonwealth that this marriage didn't work.As I watched it crossed my mind that if it HAD worked, genuinely,I think HM would now be retired living at Sandringham and they would be our King and Queen with William and Kate as Prince and Princess of Wales.
He was referring to the resonsibilty that comes with being married to the Prince of Wales. Several other women had turned him down because they didn't want that job.
