I have a priority 600 and the Apollo that they offer, and they are hands down the best bikes I've ever ridden.

Yeah, a shame, the aircraft noise was really booming and took the focus from what you were saying. I'd definitely look at a different sound set up.

That bike was seriously good looking at 3250 usd, but after shipping and import tax id be looking at at least 5000 usd and if i add the acessories that i wanted its gonna be like 5300, thats too much unfortunately 😢

Agree. Import duty on e-bikes is ridiculous. Non e-bikes are bad but e-bikes are massively penalised. If a type 1 ebike for UK should not have such a penalty. The 600x is great but agree at that price not worth it. Continue to speak to them as would love them to find a UK distributor and EU distributor.

Apologies. Was trying to highlight that for e-bikes it is even worse. We’ve been trying to import more US e-bikes as well for review but import duty makes it impossible.

@@trivelobikes ah aight didnt know that. Dont know if germany has a similar tax increase but not that big into ebikes so doesnt bother me personally too much :)

Do the pawls make a clicking noise when the bike freewheels? Or any kind of drive train noise while coasting? Or pedaling? Or when pushing the bike when you’re not riding it?

No. There is no significant sound from the gearing. So much when changing it is silent. Can be a bit of getting used to as you are uncertain if gear changed at first.

I've looked at importing one of these and the costs were just prohibitive. Where/how did you get hold of yours?

I have been working with Priority Bikes for past few years and worked through a number of courier partners to get a bike to UK to review. Costly unfortunately. I'm working with them in the hope they find a UK distribution partner as I think lots of scope for customers here.
