Got the lct 440 pure 2.5 months ago for my studio ! It sounds way better than it's competitors around the 20k price bracket (ex- rode nt1a)

Yep, I could have made it sound way better with EQ, but that's kind of problematic in a comparison video like this. I do find that reducing the higher frequencies by 2-3 dB can make it sound smoother while still retaining the details. And yeah, it does seem like a better package Rode NT1A, really like how it doesn't cover my face on camera, and the pop filter is genius. :)

@@TechReflex yeah the magnetic pop filter is great for youtube videos, twitch n stuff. But, i still got the samson ps04 pop filter cuz an old school pop filter still does a better job at handling the plosives 🤝(also, I dont have to worry about the filter hiding my face while recording my track)...

You forgot the keyboard ⌨️ test 😭😭😭 I am thinking of maono au 420m.. Will that be a good choice for Zoom meeting.. I have to type mechanical keyboard while in meeting and usually don't mute myself.. also i use Zoom's Internal high noise reduction option.. How Good will it work??

Dynamic mics don't work as well as condensers at a distance, and Sm7B also requires cloudlifter which adds 10-15K extra, and it's more like 38K instead of 28K, so the total cost would go to around 53-55K. And it's totally not worth it at that price, as you can get something from Neumann in that range. (unless you really want a dynamic mic).

Beatboxers would of course use SM7B, it has integrated pop filter, and the capsule is at a distance from its surface, so when beatboxers throw bursts of air into it, it doesn't pop. Podcasters use it because it doesn't catch the room noise as easily as a condenser mic, and if you have more than one person talking, it also doesn't catch their sound reflections as much. A lot of people also just use it because of its popularity without understanding its pros and cons, and where it has to be used (it does look great on camera though, which can be a valid reason to go for it). Check out the sound comparison tests between SM58 and SM7B, they're using the same capsule, it just has been implemented differently, and you can reach quite close to SM7B sound with a SM58.

The Maono AU-PM320S sounds clean, muffled bassy and closed sounding, the Lewitt LCT 440 Pure sounds clear, with presence and open sound, definitely the Austrian design is far superior against a Chinese toy store design. It's like comparing a Toyota Camry [Maono] versus an Audi E-Tron GT, yet they both have 4 wheels.... End of story.
