If someone told me 21 years ago that Stevo would be doing an interview with the girl from full house in a van for an internet tv. I would’ve thought you crazy.
Bro, you're the only guy out here interviewing some of my childhood actors that I've always wonder what happened to after the show. Keep bringing the fire!!
Well she's one that I've actually seen several interviews of actually lol!! She did E! True Hollywood Story and Where Are They Now? and shows of that nature.
@@mikexxxmilly yeah I love that too. The podcast community does get a bit incestuous- all have the same people on and usually around the same time as each other, so it’s def cool seeing unique guests 👍
@@chuckwhitson654 in front of a camera talking about herself with other celebrities. Met her in real life. Went to college at the same time and her friends brought her to the club. I offered to buy her a drink. She refused. How rude.
Even though she's 39 years old, she still looks like she could be 18-21. Still just as cute as ever! I love how open and uncensored she's is today. I grew up watching Full House and I loved her character so much!
Yeah, I seriously had to stop and do the math on her age from when she was on Full House. Turns out she's only 1 year older than me, but WTF? She looks 18 years YOUNGER than me!
Proud of her. She seems cool af and well adjusted and so normal. I’m so happy for her seeing this. And of course Steve o :) what a blessing to still have both of them. I’m glad they made it 💖
Sobriety is good to Jodi. It makes me so happy when I see young people get sober and stay sober. Miracles happen everyday. Here are two living and breathing miracles right here.
But she said she had a good experience clout/ fame even money take you to drugs or drinking why like she said she don’t feel at home why athletes end up doing drugs cu they will never get that same feeling back ever
I had all of the full house DVDs growing up. It was like a comfort blanket. Truly loved the show. I’m so happy to see how normal and down to earth she is! You don’t see that now a days anymore. Love her ❤️
I met Jodie Sweetin twice in a 20 year span while living in PA, in 1996 when I was 12 and she was 14, at a mall signing in Scranton, a year after full house got cancelled and got a Polaroid picture of her(from my mom) , fast forward 20 years later in 2016 I was at Penn State saw her again at a speaker event promoting her book unsweetened and was on her 2nd season on fuller house in which the 20 year old Polaroid picture was never signed and she signed it that night. I’ll never forget it. Met many celebrities afterwards but that one was truly special. Mad❤ Jodie Sweetin
wow this is so strange to see her all grown up! I had severe anxiety as a child and, I was scared...ALL the TIME. Full house gave me a break from my anxiety for a short time and, I liked to imagine a family of loving people. Stephanie was my favorite character because she went to a child psychologist in one episode and it made me feel that it was ok to go that I was not "bad" for going to a therapist and that I did not have to be embarrassed.
this is sooo good. both of them are such good conversationalists and storytellers with such interesting and unique perspectives and i just. this is so good steve-o i worship u
She was one of my first childhood crushes. Its really nice to see that she is doing so well. Who the fuck would have ever guessed that Steve-o would have ended up being a really good interviewer and general voice of reason and wisdom?
I remember my dad used to be a chiropractor and he was adjusting Jodies mom. I had to go to my dads office after school and Jodie was there doing her homework, I was too nervous to say anything but it was cool.
This is the first interview with a "hollywood person" that I personally relate to. My uncle was a regional manager for US Gypsum, and when I got out of The Corps he refused my application because he wanted me to "do better."
Oh damn! Jodie lived down the street from me back in the early 90's, I wondered what happened to her. That guy from Saved by the Bell, Screech? he wasn't too far from us either. Now that I think about it, there were a lot of kids on TV that lived in OC.
@@KurtisB yeah, but she's alright man, she's not strung out trying to dodge a sad raped childhood. She partied, it got wild she quit she's good. I'm an alcoholic... Most of America has a drinking problem, imo
@@donzallo_fx3093 not true. Some just have more resilient genetics. But in general.yes the better you take care of yourself the better you will feel and look. But it's all relative to the specific person.
she does look good but I can't help keep llooking at her hairline in the front, looks very thin. maybe it's in the stages of getting better or something
bruh, hollywood is riddled with drugs, alcohol and child abuse. She seems like she got off well, or her parents actually put her safety first rather than her success. Hopefully that is the case.
She looks great and seems so down to earth and likeable. I always thought she was a very good actress, she had that timing that worked. Great interview!
Awesome interview... I always knew that natural attitude was raw emotion.. watched her growing up.. God bless. (I'm 30's... Miss the original TGIF days of the 90s!!)
I saw the pilot by accident. Tuned in back in 87 to watch TGIF and this show began. I only knew Stamos as parents recorded General Hospital and I watched it.
I've seen just about every episode of Full House over the past eight years and of course watched the show back in the 90's. For being a former child star she seems very down to earth and not all stressed about her career and what comes with it.
Jodi has and always be my favorite from Full House .Her acting compared to the other kids was extreme and unique…And she didn’t have to cry or have a family member be famous to get the gig 😒 like someone else did 😆. Love 🥰 you Jodi!!!!
The Wayfair song is hilarious!! I watched it 3 times and laughed out loud. Fuk yes if I spent $1000 bucks on mirrors and they came shattered I would lose the fkn plot. Love your content Morgan, keep up the awesome work xx
why do people think you turn into a grotesque creature after 30? lol. younger people get a grip there are so many 40 year olds that look similar to her lol granted some turn into bridge trolls but that is neither here nor there
@@funnyhandle I hear what you’re saying lol but she DOES look great for her age despite going through an addiction. Having been to multiple rehabilitation facilities you’d be surprised the physical affects a tough addiction would have on a person’s appearance. Hence my original comment
When I was little her mom was the librarian at my elementary school and she came in to see her mom one day and was so excited because I was a full house fan 😭❤️
I love hearing her speak just like how she is in real life. I have battled addiction and trauma from my childhood, still struggle but moving forward, and I could seriously see myself and Jodi as best friends. Love the transparency about everything.
What a beautiful young women she is... Well spoken, totally chill and she is very intelligent. Gypsum is a mineral they use to make drywall. Great interview Stevo and crew... Well done.
Reading at about age 3 seems to be more common than people realize. All four of my parent’s kids were reading by the time we turned 3. Most of my cousins were, too. We are all children and grandchildren of people who love to read, too. I’m glad to know we weren’t the only ones!
Man thats awesome seeing her now, and shes doing well. She def came out ahead, she looks hella good for going thru wat she did and being just about 40.
Gypsum is the main component of drywall which was almost exclusively referred to as gypsum board initially. Now people refer to as anything from gypsum board to plaster board, to drywall to sheetrock. But it's all the same stuff.
I was born like 6 months before Jodie. She just sounds like a really cool person you really could just sit and talk with. That's amazing about Valerie, Hogan Family and how it all came together. Very happy for her.
She has always been my favorite and inspiration love seeing her so loose and talking things out. Help more people who are struggling and feeling alone.
She seems soooooo down to earth and chill for a child star (I always think of Dana Plato, RIP) and I was shocked... then she started talking about her parents and how cool they were, never pushing her into anything and just salt of the earth kinda folk, and then it all made sense how she turned out soo normal and level-headed (despite her demons, which thankfully she overcame!!). Rooting for her! 💪💪💪
She’s so down to earth cause of all the crap she’s been through. It matures you and puts things into perspective. She seems like a great human being to me. So proud of her for wrestling with her demons and coming out the other end.
That dude with the mustache looks like an older Dax Harwood. But Jodie looks amazing. This is such a cool clip. And I am so glad Steve-O is doing well. He's pretty cool and his interviews are so awesome.
I think it’s really interesting to see the contrasting experiences between her and someone like Jenette McCurdy. Jenette’s been really outspoken about her bad experience of being a child star and how it pushed her into an eating disorder and a lot of it has to do with her mom. Her mom was the one pushing her into it, she didn’t even want to do it, but it was like at first her mom probably just wanted to live vicariously through her and then it became a matter of “well you’re the main bread winner of this house”. But Jodie’s parents sound really cool and like they were just helping their child do what she loved to do. I think first and foremost it boils down to the parents. Because of course if you go into this thinking “I want my child to be famous no matter what” you’re going to allow some horrific shit to happen to your kid and turn a blind eye to it, but if you’re actually responsible for your child you’re going to be on guard about the predatory and exploitative people out there. I mean I think there should still be something in place to protect kids that are in the former situation: things like better labor laws and maybe even something saying that the child has to be supervised by some sort of social workers whenever they’re alone with cast and crew that aren’t their immediate family but idk really. I just wish kids wouldn’t be ruined by some monster in Hollywood.
I went to school with Jodie in middle school and high school. I grew up loving the show full house! I felt so fortunate to have been in the same school McAuliffe. I remember passing her in between classes... I was happy to see her so I said "Hi Jodie!" She looked me up and down and said "What ever!"... I was crushed! I loved Full House and that truly broke my heart. I responded very poorly and flipped her off and said "well then fuck you bitch!"... lol kinda feel bad for how I reacted. I'm sure she has come a long way and has seen both the good sides and bad sides of life. I sure hope she doesnt still feel that way twards people who are not as fortunate as her...
@@user-ce6od9dk5m honestly the whole thing kinda saddens me when I think about it and I would hope that she became more humble as she's grown. She was probably only 11 or 12 at the time. I just hope she isn't as callous and cold as she was with my interaction with her.
@@user-ce6od9dk5m whatever bro I live in northern Orange County California I don't really have any reason to lie about that she went to my school and what I said was the truth you don't have to believe me I don't really give a damn
@@retrocausality6159 I believe you. My grandmother is 90 something and still drinks bourbon in the morning and one at night. Just quit smoking about 2 years ago. Grandfather smoked and drank until the day he died at at 87 years old. Everybody is different. Listen to your body and not obese doctors or bitchy nurses...
SteveO has some pretty top of the line guests. It makes his podcast so much more interesting than the rest. Some of his guests I haven't seen in years, and others are so interesting,. Keep up the great work bro. My childhood crush! She's still beautiful! She has barely aged.
I'm glad all these celebs and child stars have come out saying how things really are for them. My son asks me all the time to be on tv, or start a RU-vid or something. He wants to be an actor, he just turned 8.. but after hearing all these stories, I get so worried about what could happen. So we are still debating on whether or not we want him to take that path at such a young age. I just want him to be a kid.
